POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
We welcome @chichotas_music to the crew as an official Frisson Records artist. He has been in our INCUBATOR mentorship and support group for emerging talent for several months now and has been killing it with his productions. He released a cracker of a remix recently - Tomchilla - " Are You My Friend " ( Chichotas Remix ) and has some very wicked stuff in the works too. He is also collaborating and remixing with some Frisson heavyweights atm and is showing so much promise and we love to se ehim stepping up and begin to reach his potential as a complete artist. Keep an eye and ear out for him on Frisson Records in the near future ... by @frisson_music

💀 Halloween is only 2 weeks away! 💀 So please follow us through the stories we have lined up for this Halloween, starting with what’s written on the walls of @sookilounge October 31st in Melbourne. Amongst the countless genres we have lined up for the night with 20 acts to drool over. It wouldn’t hit right without some deep dark Tech. Headlining this extravagant evening with the most theatric performance of the event is no other than the Shaman Monster @hapticau of @frisson_music The Shaman Monster is an alter ego of the vocalist and producer Haptic. Beginning as an artistic experiment which quickly spun out of control, the Shaman Monster has become an animalistic expression of modern form ritualism. In an increasingly “enlightened” and secular world, the Shaman Monster wants to regress, and it invites you to join it. Revivify the ancient, joyously embrace the anti secular, and sink into a sonic web of ritualised techno. Chants, bones, drones, blood, desire, and fire- this is the musical domain of the Shaman Monster. We shared and celebrated our lives for thousands of years this way until the dawn of machines and computation, when we collectively started to forget. But the Shaman Monster remembers, and deep down, so do you. 🦴 💀 Halloween is only 2 weeks away! 💀 So please follow us through the stories we have lined up for this Halloween, starting with what’s written on the walls of @sookilounge October 31st in Melbourne. That last line pretty much describes my creative process, issues and all. This tune is with the artist @chichotas_music and I’ll give it its first public test at @sickest.house in Melbourne on 31st October. #ritualtech (p.s if you are a costume designer or you know one please send help as I have a $60 sewing machine and a 3d printer and I am wreaking a trail of creative devastation through my house with both of them.) p.p.s I meant exploring not exporting by @frisson_music

OUT NOW ... - When new and old meet in a fusion to pay homage to a passed legend ... This is a 3 track remix EP of the very first release that our passed brother @tomchillam8s dropped on Frisson Records. The track is “ Are You My Friend “ which features his daughter, Grace ( who was 4 atthe time ) ... We have had this killer track remixed before, but this one is special as we have 2 brand new producers on this EP, @chichotas_music and ( Psyzigium ) @delve.aus both dropping the first official label tracks and we also have @lektrk_official ( stable regular, techno scene veteran and label assitant too , as well as being one of Tomchillas friends and collaboration partner )... We are excited for this one to be out now on all the usual major platforms ... The artwork is also a fusion of old and new , featuring a reworked version of the original art , some colours added and yes, the now trademark Tomchilla dragonfly added https://www.beatport.com/release/are-you-my-friend-the-remixes/7095392 by @frisson_music

A quick trip to the Sunshine Coast, a massive lesson in letting go of perfection, and a whole lot of gratitude. Big thank you to Mark from @frisson_music for flying me up for the showcase. Mate you are one of the most authentic blokes in the scene, we are very lucky to have you. The energy in the room was unreal, the locals were locked in and every artist that played absolutely killed it. I tested a completely unpolished, last minute WIP from my upcoming EP that I was rushing to finish right before I got to the club. It was a gamble, but it ended up getting one of the biggest reactions of my set. Stop waiting for everything to be perfect before you share it. The full live set, complete with that unreleased track, is live on my SoundCloud now. Hit the link in my bio to check it out. #FrissonRecords #SunshineCoast #psytech by @frisson_music
