POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🎃 Halloween’s most exciting tradition, before we get into the Trick or Treats, is always about the Dress Up. 🧛‍♀️🧟‍♀️🧝‍♀️🧙‍♀️

Dressing up scarier than our demons to try and scare them and all their fear they try to bring with them. 😈

Over the years, costumes and outfits have evolved impeccably. And Sickest House has always taken a fond appreciation of the elegance and qualities that can come from an intentional dress up. Absolutely drooling over the costumes and outfits that have been presented in the past 🤤

This year we’re really putting emphasis on seeing which costumes can transport us into new realms with out of the box ideas, or something that truly speaks the gothic psychedelic fairytale of todays modern world.

Come dressed up with your partner, friend or even as your own showcase of a spectacle. We really want to see what you’ve been conjuring up. This is your time to shine. ✨
If any of these inspiration images are something you’re into. Then Halloween At Sooki Lounge is the event for you..

I am going to take this instrument on the ✈️ to @sookilounge with me on Halloween so that I (and potentially you can have a play on it together as I have a headphone splitter and it might be in the courtyard between stages) 🖤 but after that I’ll play you a set of some #ritualtech aka Witchy PsyTech. Honestly what DOESN’T make sense about this 🦚 Tickets: triniq.com/shx #real world #realhumans

💀 Halloween is only 2 weeks away! 💀

So please follow us through the stories we have lined up for this Halloween, starting with what’s written on the walls of @sookilounge October 31st in Melbourne.

Amongst the countless genres we have lined up for the night with 20 acts to drool over. It wouldn’t hit right without some deep dark Tech.

Headlining this extravagant evening with the most theatric performance of the event is no other than the Shaman Monster @hapticau of @frisson_music

The Shaman Monster is an alter ego of the vocalist and producer Haptic. Beginning as an artistic experiment which quickly spun out of control, the Shaman Monster has become an animalistic expression of modern form ritualism. In an increasingly “enlightened” and secular world, the Shaman Monster wants to regress, and it invites you to join it. Revivify the ancient, joyously embrace the anti secular, and sink into a sonic web of ritualised techno.

Chants, bones, drones, blood, desire, and fire- this is the musical domain of the Shaman Monster.

We shared and celebrated our lives for thousands of years this way until the dawn of machines and computation, when we collectively started to forget.

But the Shaman Monster remembers, and deep down, so do you.

That last line pretty much describes my creative process, issues and all. This tune is with the artist @chichotas_music and I’ll give it its first public test at @sickest.house in Melbourne on 31st October. #ritualtech (p.s if you are a costume designer or you know one please send help as I have a $60 sewing machine and a 3d printer and I am wreaking a trail of creative devastation through my house with both of them.) p.p.s I meant exploring not exporting
