🎉 WE DID IT! 🎉

Because of your generosity, Project Pay-it-Forward EXCEEDED its $15,000 fundraising goal and unlocked a $10,000 challenge gift from @bluecrossblueshieldkc!

THANK YOU for helping provide 2,500 meal tokens through Thelma’s Kitchen — ensuring neighbors have access to nourishing meals served with dignity and care.

So far this year, 1,864 lunch tokens have already been redeemed at Thelma’s Kitchen. At this pace, we’re on track to provide even more meals than we did in 2025.

That’s why we’re not stopping now.

That’s why we’re so grateful that Tom and Kathy Marincel have stepped forward with an additional $5,000 challenge gift if our community reaches $30,000. We’re extending the campaign through the weekend, and we’re just $4,500 away from the new goal!

Let’s keep the momentum going and provide even more meals for our neighbors.

Give a token. Share a meal. Pay it forward. 💛 by @frjustinmathews
