I think it’s fair to say we could all use a little heart medicine these days. Lately I’ve been leaning on rose and hibiscus.

🌹Rose tends to the heart and nervous system, gently teaching us how to stay open without collapsing our boundaries. She also tones the tissues of the womb, supporting a healthier bleed by helping the tissues contract with strength.

🌺Hibiscus supports the circulatory system, promoteshealthy vibrent skin, and offers a cooling quality as the sun begins to return.

✨Cinnamon adds a bit of spice, stimulating digestion and helping the body regulate blood sugar.

Recipe
1 heaping tsp powdered hibiscus
1 tsp powdered rose
½ tsp cinnamon
Splash of coconut milk

I love powdering some of my herbs and preparing them this way, but you could just as easily steep the whole herbs and strain. Blessings beloved friends 💌 by @fromearthandeden

I was trying to decide between running a sale, and running away to the woods. The plants held me deeper than I could have known this summer. I went through a very abrupt and traumatic divorce that started in July, Losing my partner, home, any sense of stability, my ability to run my business, my garden, animals, ect, All that I was poring my heart and soul into vanished overnight.

Amidst so much confusion and pain I found myself sitting with the earth, in many places, singing, weeping, bleeding, and listening.

Working with ally’s like Motherwort, and rose to sooth my heart.

Violet and Rose oil to move stagnation from my body.

Passionflower, chamomile, and lavender to ease spiraling thoughts and support my sleep.

St. John’s wort offered new awareness without even consuming them.

Pine, mugwort, and poppy, gently guided my path forward.

Yarrow, calendula, and mugwort to cleanse my womb

Saying yes this year to diving deeper into relationship with the plants, medicine making, and reciprocity with the earth has changed my life in more ways than I can count, and in ways I never could have expected.

I want to share some of these medicines I have been crafting, your support means so much to me as I move to Colorado, starting over with my business, a new job, and new home, in a little town that has been calling my name ever so kindly.

Leaning on these plants in this season of my life has truly saved me, not just because of the medicine they offer to our physical bodies, but our spirits as well.
