Truly will never be over this bouquet! I think I’ve told half everyone I know about it. I might’ve shed tears over it. To get to create art, to have my hands in nature and work with some of life’s most beautiful creations…. I’m forever grateful. Life is so funny. 10 years ago if you’d have told me I’d end up where I am, I’d have looked at you very confused. My life looks so different than where it was even a few years ago. This wasn’t my plan. But often life has plans for us we know nothing about. Some times it’s you being shifted into a career that allows you to be part of everything you love and hold dear, but never knew you needed.

Hi!! There’s a lot of new faces around here lately and I’m so grateful for each of you taking time to follow & connect with me and my work! Wanted to take a moment to introduce myself!

I’m Rebecca or Beck! I’m the owner and lead stylist here at From Marsh & Meadow. I am not a social media whiz or content creator! If you’ve spent anytime here, you know that! I’m a florist. I hope that’s what you choose to work with me for not my excellent social media skills lol!

I am not a fan of being on camera so you’ll rarely see that but here’s me, my child Luna, my 3 year old Chaos demon or also sometimes known as a pug.

And the things I live for! Whimsy, fun, romance, nature, flowers, wildlife and photography.

I love Matcha, sunsets, exploring, butterfly ranunculus and ridiculously bad natural disaster movies!

Carnations… love them or hate them?
Do they scream eighties to you or are you excited to see them making a comeback?

Personally, I was never a fan but lately with the newer color varieties I’ve been seeing I’m secretly loving some of them!

The new antique shades are definitely high on my list of favorite flower options. I love that their colors come in muted and vary in tone. I love that you can pinch the centers out and it looks like an entirely different flower. And for some reason I have yet to figure out these neon lime green are at the top of my list. Never been a fan of neon green or carnations and yet here I am recommending them! I love that they’re cost effective and can still do so much for an arrangement.

What are your thoughts?

A vibrant pop of color for this dreary Charleston day! Walked in for processing this morning and was so happy to be greeted with such a beautiful array of color! This piece is from my last days designing in California with @lovehermadlylb right around a year ago almost exactly. Today’s color palette is exactly the same! I love when life hands you beautiful little reminders and synchronicities. Seeing lots of those lately and am so reminded of where I came from and how far I’ve come over not just the last year in this industry but over the last 9 years spent creating, designing, working along side and building with so many amazing florists, brides and other vendors. From freelancing to building my own business. Crazy to say I’ve been doing this for this long and obsessed to see some of the trends making their way to Charleston!

As a wedding and event florist I tend to see ALOT of the same color palettes. You guys see me posting about it often. So when I got the inquiry for Krystal & Tavons purple themed wedding, my heart leapt a little! It’s so rare that I get to work with the many shades of purples. It’s definitely a favorite of mine.

What do you do when you create your absolute favorite piece ever? Sit on it and hide it away in your phone, obviously! I was blessed to get to design this for @gildflorals some months ago and have been meaning to post it since. Never could figure out a caption but finally decided it didn’t really need one. It speaks for its self and instead of waiting for the perfect caption I should just share her with the world, so here she is 🤍 Forever obsessed with tropicals!
