Part III ~ Paris
1 - 4
Most of Paris is closed, but not all! @laosiam_paris I might have been enjoying tons of seafood but I rly missed fish sauce! Also enjoyed a solo lunch @auxdeuxamis , Korean inspired beef tartare and mackerel, nice glass of wine, simple! Delish!

5 My very own mini Paris Brest from @lagrandeepicerie quite sweet but good

6 - 10 @orson.paris Thanks for blowing us out sheesh. 😮‍💨I made the staff eat pizza after their shift because they wined me out. and then met Laura Dern. I’m forever changed. Incredible red mullet au poivre w enoki and bottarga, delightful takes on banchan, can’t wait to come back. TY @esulee

Part II ~ Marseille

1 - 2 @suffren.marseille The Lisbon>Marseilles seafood pipeline. At this point I had eaten so much ocean fare I needed land protein..this lamb saddle was cooked beautifully…nicely grilled veggies they were paired with also delicately perfect. Lovely wines too.

3 - 5 Joined a gaggle of friends bangbanging bopping around @leslumieres_marseille @ciccino.marseille and @yuzu_record_bar . Nice wines, crudo, oysters, Milanese and chicories, many pastas, tiramisu…like I was back at Lodi RIP without ever visiting Italy lol. V memorable raw sweet shrimp pasta with a rly unctuous shrimp head sauce

6 - 8 After a stunning day in the Calanques my skin was as radiant as the shimmer on this fish! Dialed-in, light touches, bright and delicate use of summer tomato in various forms, with live tableside veloute drizzle. Tried Ham the Sea Mojama she putting Chicken of the Sea to wurk @poissonneriekennedymarseille ty for sending out the little dessert sampler since I couldn’t make up my mind about which one to try. Warm chocolate mousse with fennel ice cream, melon, herb sorbets, and squid ink ice cream tres beau~ by @frumpygrain

Part I ~ Lisbon and Berlin
1 & 2 @prado_winebar Yummy meal, highlights are this beautifully cooked sherry glazed pork in a lovely daikon dashi based sauce. Malt ice cream had an insane fluffy creamy texture topped with cherry deliciousness!

3 & 4 When clams go beast mode..Finally tried Percebes AKA gooseneck barnacles alongside grilled scallops, and langoustine at Cervejaria Ramiro. Nobody talks about the sci-fi red juice squirt when unsheathing..

5 - 8 @bar__alimentar Crudo with a zesty citrus aguachile, shisho, and herb oil. I scoffed at the savory take on dessert cannoli, but was shocked to find! the Bacalhau mousse + caramelized onion filled cannoli shell crusted w pistachios goes crazyyyy. Also enjoyed the Bouillabasse raviolis, beef tartare polenta bites, and rhubarb honeycomb panna cotta to finish.

9 - 11 ❤️Berlin. Bbs first Iskender ! Smoky, crispy, savory goodness slathered in tomato sauce. Tart yogurt puckering isn’t just for kisses!!
Omw 2 France and had some stellar laminated pastries @lamaisonberlin
I also had some rly good homey Thai at @larbkoi2020 but I failed to take any pix except for this herbal packet. The auntie who works there uses this to make her pungent, infused vodka shots gifted to customers at the end of their meals. by @frumpygrain

Peanut Pudding with a Burnt Rock Sugar Syrup & Tapioca. Feels dated it’s because it is! Lost my voice a couple weeks back when I originally made this. Just your standard Tong Sui 花生湯 bowl of hot comfort leveled up a weeee bit 🤏🏼 Cold it’s pudding, hot it’s soup. Excellent both ways 🥜 Do yourself a favor and buy skinless peanuts unless you enjoy pain though that seems to be the way God intended it. Cutie carafe turned dessert drizzler by @gubean by @frumpygrain

Working holidays is part of this life~I miss being fed by loved ones while feeding someone else’s….But there is pride in the joy food creates, even when I feel unseen. I’m blessed that my corner of the world is always full, all other days of the year. I want my food to keep giving the joy that keeps me coming back even after I’m stuffed!

15” Eclipse Olive oil birthday keki and passion fruit curd by @gubean ~~ mascarpone whipped cream with black sesame meringue cookies and a well of green grape domes 🍇 for birthday Queen Alexa, so strong she doesn’t mess with social media.
