At the First Spiritualist Church of Austin, we recognize that Natural Law is the divine thread connecting all living things. When we guide our children to gently plant a seed, marvel at the sky, or hold a simple earthworm, we are doing more than teaching them about the outdoors. We are guiding them to observe and align with these fundamental natural laws.
Understanding nature is the first step to spiritual reverence. When our children learn to appreciate the delicate balance of the Earth, they learn to understand it. And when they understand the profound interconnectedness of all life, they become its greatest protectors. By nurturing their bond with the natural world today, we empower the stewards of tomorrow’s physical and spiritual harmony.

At the Children’s Lyceum, we believe that intuition is not a supernatural gift to be acquired, but an inherent faculty to be preserved. While the world often teaches us to silence our inner voice, our mission is to provide a sanctuary where that natural radiance can flourish without the weight of skepticism.
Through simple exercises, like noticing the energy of a standard deck of cards before they are turned, our students learn that spiritual attunement is a matter of observation rather than guesswork. We are not teaching them something new; we are helping them remember how to trust themselves and the laws of nature.

A massive shout out to @journey_to_mictlan and @alejandro_castanedaiii

Last week, these two completed their in-person ministerial skills training in Rochester, NY at
@plymouthspiritualistrochny

Here they are, captured in a moment of history, speaking from the same lectern used by legends like Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

We are so proud of your dedication to the Church and the path of Spiritualism. The future of our community is bright with leaders like you. Congratulations on this incredible step in your ministerial journey!
