15 MIN LONG #Funkadelic jam session - How do you find the best parts + make a cohesive dub / song of it? That’s what @casertadoesmusic did with his CASERTA’s 2 THE STUDS DUB of FSQ’s @fsqofficial ON THE MAP with @north_satellite_nyc + @mfwiley - BTW this is the only version that really digs into Morgan’s soulful organ 🎹 solo !! All 6 versions of ON THE MAP out now via @soulclaprecords via @empiredance

Soul Clap Records proudly presents FSQ, Billy Bass Nelson and Eugene Tambourine - ‘On The Map’, a Balearic tribute to the great Billy Bass Nelson.
The October full package includes the original versions plus dubs and an instrumental that reveals every layer of organ, clavinet, synth, bells and percussion. As a bonus, FSQ unearths ‘The Map Song (30 Year Anniversary Instrumental Version)’ recorded in 1996 with Billy Bass and Parliament‑Funkadelic members — a fitting tribute to a musical giant whose influence continues to guide the map forward.

So @_villanis led a proper @beatport connect LA panel on A&R for Electronic / Dance 🪩 music + one BIG question 🙋🏼‍♂️ was “how do I get into A&R” + the answer is : CURATION !! So curating your favorite tracks - having the time 🕰️ and ear 👂 to go be intentional and make a selection of 10 top tunes - not hits - but music you found deep in the underground - is so crucial on your path to that career. On that note 🎵 here are my FSQ @fsqofficial Top 10 for September 2026 via @traxsource by @fsqofficial
