Happy Halloween from the Seminole Battalion! 🎃 Yesterday, cadets brought their Halloween spirit to PT by dressing up in costumes and participating in a series of Halloween-themed activities across FSU’s campus. Cadets kicked off the morning with a Star Course, working together through various stations that challenged their teamwork and physical fitness. Squads competed for the title, “Halloween Star Course Champions”! The morning wrapped up with a costume contest, where cadets showed off their creativity and Halloween spirit! It was a fun opportunity to build camaraderie, encourage teamwork, and enjoy some friendly competition. #fsu #armyrotc #halloween #boo @floridastateuniversity @fsuartssciences @armyrotc @6thbrigadearmyrotc by @fsu.armyrotc
The Seminole Battalion participated in Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TCCC) training, learning and practicing essential lifesaving skills in tactical environments. This hands-on training helps to prepare cadets for Advanced Camp, while it reinforces the importance of caring for their fellow Soldiers when it matters most. #fsu #armyrotc #tccc #seminolebattalion @floridastateuniversity @fsuartssciences @armyrotc @6thbrigadearmyrotc by @fsu.armyrotc

FSU Army ROTC was happy to welcome @fsuambassadors to PT this morning! The ambassadors got a glimpse of our day-to-day training by participating in an AFT circuit and sprint workouts alongside our cadets. Thank you to the FSU ambassadors for joining us bright and early and taking the time to learn about our program. Great work by everyone at PT! Let’s keep putting in the work and getting after it! #armyrotc #fsu #hardwork #gonoles @floridastateuniversity @fsuartssciences @armyrotc @6thbrigadearmyrotc by @fsu.armyrotc
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming🐠 You guys! We made it through the week to another glorious #fitnessfriday! Righteous! 🐢 This week we’re joining the Renegade Platoon with @fsu.armyrotc in the water while they complete the Combat Water Survival Test (CWST). This training evaluates an #ArmyROTC cadet’s ability to safely operate, swim, and survive in deep water while wearing military clothing and equipment. CWST typically consists of a water entry from a high plunge, being able to quickly remove heavy equipment, timed swims while maintaining gear and weapon control, and treading water. 💦 🎥: @fsu.armyrotc Does this training interest you? Come try it as part of our team! Visit the 🔗 in our bio for more information on Army ROTC pathways! #LeadershipExcellence | #beallyoucanbe by @fsu.armyrotc
FSU Army ROTC makes a splash! Pool PT brings a fun change of scenery while still delivering a great workout! It also gives cadets the opportunity to build their confidence in the water as they prepare for the upcoming CWST. #fsu #armyrotc #poolpt #renegadeplatoon #justkeepswimming @floridastateuniversity @fsuartssciences @armyrotc @6thbrigadearmyrotc by @fsu.armyrotc
Seminoles Take on the Army Ten-Miler! This weekend, nine FSU Army ROTC cadets traveled to Washington, D.C., to take on the Army Ten-Miler! Along the way, they had the opportunity to connect with Seminole Battalion alumni and even cross paths with the Sergeant Major of the Army. Experiences like these build camaraderie, strengthen our Army connections, and remind our cadets that they are part of something bigger than themselves. A huge THANK YOU to our Seminole Battalion alumni and supporters whose generous donations made this opportunity possible. Your continued investment in our cadets creates experiences that develop future Army leaders! ❤️💛 Once a Seminole, Always a Seminole! #FSU #ArmyRotc #SeminoleBattalion #ArmyTenMiler #FutureArmyLeaders @floridastateuniversity @fsuartssciences @armyrotc @6thbrigadearmyrotc by @fsu.armyrotc

On Friday September 25th, we celebrated the retirement of Mr. Bob Lovins after 50 years of service to the United States Army and 30 years of service to Florida State University Army ROTC. For three decades, Bob served as a recruiter, mentor, advisor, and trusted source of institutional knowledge for the Seminole Battalion. His efforts directly contributed to the commissioning of more than 750 Army officers, while his mentorship and guidance impacted thousands more. Bob leaves behind a remarkable legacy—and an important responsibility for those of us who follow him: sustain the standard he established and continue investing in the next generation of leaders. Thank you, Bob, for a lifetime of selfless service and for everything you have done for our cadets, our Army, and Florida State University. @floridastateuniversity @fsuartssciences @fsuveterans @6thbrigadearmyrotc @armyrotc by @fsu.armyrotc

The Gauntlet: 4 hours of hard work and grit. The Ranger Challenge (RC) team wrapped up their tryouts on Friday with one final trial that tested their mental and physical endurance. Cadets had to rely on each other and work well as a team during The Gauntlet to earn their place in the team. Great job to all who tried out! Next stop: 6TH BDE RC competition JAN27! #fsu #rotc #rangerchallenge #determination #grit @floridastateuniversity @fsuartssciences @armyrotc @6thbrigadearmyrotc by @fsu.armyrotc
