OG “CYCO” from City Terrace little back story Mike has been my roommate for the past 6 months. Going from complete strangers to sharing meals he’s been cool getting to know! I wanted to start a new chapter of For The Core Zine called “It’s My Story” focusing on others stories and experiences in life and shown in a positive light and not held into one mold that’s always been my goal with this zine is to create what I want and not stick to having one style of work! I’ve just always wanted to show my life and my surroundings! taken in Pomona, California by @ftcfanzine

This is my mom in the late 90s with my God mom in one photo and a friend in another! Shes a big reason on why I listen to the music I do, carry myself as I do and all around influence on all things that inspire me! Having a kid at 18 and being a single mom with 2 kids working her ass off in construction really had an everlasting effect on me. Playing both roles raising a son and daughter at a young age is something I couldn’t imagine doing! This is just a little bit about my mother Stephanie Renee ❤️ you hold a big place in my heart even when we don’t see eye to eye! This song in particular is one that makes me think of her most aside from oldies or a smiths song!🎶 by @ftcfanzine

What a honor it is to have my work shown and displayed for a third time and how grateful I am to have my work be acknowledged and speak for itself! Thank you @superchiefgallery for the opportunity and seeing the work I put out be good enough to be shown in this amazing show with multiple great artists and photographers alike. A back story on this photo when this was taken I was in a place where everything in my life truthfully was falling apart. Lost my job, place to live and GF at the time and I thought to myself how can this get any worse!? Well one thing I’ve learned in this life is it only gets worse before it gets better roll with the punches and keep it pushing! Find the beauty in your chaos and make work! taken in Superchief Gallery L.A. by @ftcfanzine

the red string theory

the idea that two people who are destined to find each other are tied together by an invisible red thread that will draw them together when the time is right, regardless of the moment, place or circumstance. the string may stretch or tangle but it will never break.

inspired by my relationship and the night i met my now fiancé. when we met we talked about our upbringings and both realized how many connections we had to each other basically our whole lives despite being in two completely different cities. so many times we could've met throughout the years, being so close yet so far from each other until the night of november 28, 2025.
“i hope i never see what your face looks like goin”
i love you.

thank you celly and chris for being my models and bringing my vision to life. by @ftcfanzine

I haven’t posted on this page in quite some time so sorry to anyone if I’ve gone M.I.A I think being vulnerable especially with something I hold very special and near to my heart I’ve just felt burnt out on this not as a artist or creating but just with life in general! losing two very important people in a 3 month span and life coming at me fast I needed to take a step back and maybe take a new approach to this page! I finally feel ready to create again making what’s made me the happiest! Depression doesn’t make me it doesn’t define me but it’s allowed me to really face myself as a person! So getting a new camera and creating again will be happening peace, love and For The Core ❤️ by @ftcfanzine
