Restock 1 of 3 this week 🌱

Every tray is sown, watered, harvested and packed by hand.

Does it make our microgreens more expensive? Yes.

But it’s also the reason chefs regularly tell us they don’t need an order this week because last week’s is still going strong.

Terrible for repeat sales. Brilliant for food quality and reducing waste.

We could do it faster. We could do it cheaper.

But growing produce that lasts, tastes better and doesn’t end up in the bin is far more important to us.

Nurtured by hand, not machines. 🌱

Just look at what @outsidegourmetcatering are doing with our microgreens! 😍🌱

Smoked salmon blinis, gorgeous little savoury tarts, Scotch eggs, crispy canapés and beautifully presented starters… their food always looks incredible! 🤤

Outside Gourmet Catering are a family-run business based in Llandudno, catering for weddings, parties and events across North Wales and beyond.

We absolutely love seeing their photos, especially the weddings. Some stunning venues, beautiful food and so much work going into making someone’s special day just right. 💚

It’s lovely seeing where our little greens end up, especially when they’re part of someone’s wedding or special celebration.

And can we just appreciate the skill involved in preparing and presenting all those dishes, sometimes hundreds of them, and making every single one look that good?! 👏

It’s hard to believe the little girl in these photos is officially 18 today… and even harder to believe just how much she’s achieved since joining the family business.

We’re incredibly proud of the young woman she’s become — although looking back through these photos, we’re not entirely sure where those 18 years disappeared to! 😭

@nourishbyneo are doing beautiful things with our microgreens 🌱 and edible flowers 🌺 😍

Loaded bagels, avocado and feta toast, colourful breakfast bowls… everything looks so fresh and you can tell how much care goes into it.

NEO are an independent café in Rhuddlan and they’ve just launched their autumn menu 🍂 There are some seriously good-looking specials on there too — BLT stack bagels, bacon and hot honey halloumi, pastrami bagels, açai bowls and plenty of autumn drinks.

We’re always really grateful when another small business chooses to buy from us. There are far more convenient ways to source ingredients, but they make the effort to use fresh, locally grown produce because they care about what they’re putting on their customers’ plates.

That support means a lot to a little business like ours. And in return, we get to watch them take something we’ve grown and make it look a million times better than we ever could 😋🤗
