If I could tell the little Nicky in these pictures one thing, it would be this: I hope you learn to love yourself so much that you never confuse being loved with being hurt. ❤️

I learned early on that people, places, and seasons of life change. Some things aren’t meant to stay forever. But it took me years to understand that the one relationship I’d have for the rest of my life was the one I had with myself.

I’ve lived through things I never could’ve imagined as that little girl. Teenage pregnancy, divorce, abuse, toxic relationships, heartbreak, health issues, and seasons when life looked nothing like I expected. I’ve had to start over, let go, rebuild, and find my way back to myself more times than I can count.

But through it all, I learned to give myself grace, forgive myself, and choose myself. ❤️

If there’s one thing I wish I’d understood sooner, it’s that you don’t have to earn love by enduring pain. You never have to abandon yourself to keep someone else.

I hope you learn to love yourself so deeply that you trust life even when things fall apart. That you know a relationship or friendship ending doesn’t make you less worthy. That being alone or starting over doesn’t make you any less whole.

You are enough when you’re loved. You’re enough when you’re alone. And you never need to lose yourself to be loved by someone else.

You have you. And that’s not a consolation prize. That’s where it all begins. 🥹❤️

Little me, we’re still figuring it out. But look at us. We made it. And we’re better than you ever could’ve imagined. ✨

6:30am on a Friday is a different level of friendship 🥹🤍

Thank you to my girls for getting out of bed and coming to my class this morning. Seeing familiar faces on those reformers means so much to me.

Thinking back to my first mock class, I’m proud of how much more comfortable and confident I’ve become. Still so much to learn, but it feels good to pause and appreciate how far I’ve come.
