6:30am on a Friday is a different level of friendship 🥹🤍

Thank you to my girls for getting out of bed and coming to my class this morning. Seeing familiar faces on those reformers means so much to me.

Thinking back to my first mock class, I’m proud of how much more comfortable and confident I’ve become. Still so much to learn, but it feels good to pause and appreciate how far I’ve come.

A very good start to my Friday 🫶🏽 #pilates #fortlauderdale #pilateslife

End of summer, but make it wellness. 🌅✨

Had the most amazing time at the Wellness Sunset Club: End of Summer Social!

An entire evening dedicated to movement, recovery, and community. We flowed and we shopped some incredible local brands. Nothing beats wrapping up the summer surrounded by good energy and even better people. 🤍

Tuesdays at Booty by Lala have a purpose: progressive overload.

If your goal is to build stronger glutes and legs, doing the same thing with the same intensity week after week will eventually stop producing the same results. Your body adapts, which means your training has to progress too.

Progressive overload simply means gradually increasing the demand you place on your muscles over time.

And it does not always mean lifting heavier.

Progress can look like:

• Increasing your weight when you can complete your reps with good form
• Performing more reps with the same weight
• Improving your range of motion
• Slowing down the eccentric portion of a movement and increasing control
• Improving technique and stability
• Completing the same workload with better execution

One of my biggest tips: track your weights.

If you hip thrust 25 lbs this Tuesday, remember it. If you comfortably complete the prescribed reps with good form, that gives you information for next week. Maybe you add weight. Maybe you add a rep. Maybe you keep the weight and improve your execution.

Progress should be intentional and measurable, not random.

This is also why repeating foundational movements is valuable. You don’t need a completely different exercise every week to get results. Repetition gives you the opportunity to improve your technique, understand your strength and gradually increase the challenge.

And remember: soreness isn’t a measurement of progress.

Getting stronger is.

That’s the focus behind our Tuesday training at Booty by Lala: learning how to train with intention, challenge yourself appropriately and build strength over time.

Your only comparison should be where you started.

Thursday nights just keep getting better. 🌅

Another evening of miles, conversations, new faces, familiar faces, and showing up for ourselves.

Whether you ran all 3 miles, walked the 1-mile route, or came just to connect—you were part of what makes this community special.

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight. We can’t wait to do it all again next Wednesday.

Every workout has a purpose.

✨ Tuesdays: Heavy strength training + progressive overload.
✨ Thursdays: Accessory work to target the muscles that support bigger lifts and better glute growth.

The magic happens when you show up consistently for both.

See you Thursday at 5 or 6 AM at @praiseathletics_ 🍑

Week one ✔️

Our first official week of Tuesday + Thursday classes at PRAISE Athletics is complete, and what a way to start. 🍑

Thank you to everyone who showed up, worked hard, and trusted the process.

Next up: Saturday… where things get just a little spicier. 🌶️ (Hint: we might be taking things outside.)

See you soon.

Girls’ nights are the reset. 🤍

Got the girls together, ordered an espresso martini before yoga (because balance 😂), took way too many pictures, and then quickly realized I cannot be trusted in a yoga class with good music. If I’m in downward dog and the playlist is hitting… I’m probably dancing.

Huge thank you to @jeffbenet for such an incredible flow and grounding energy. You created such a welcoming space that reminded me movement doesn’t always have to be about pushing harder—it can also be about slowing down, connecting, and simply enjoying the moment.

And @isaacdavid, your playlists never miss. Whether I’ve taken your classes at Solidcore or Studio Three, the music is always one of my favorite parts. Yesterday was no different—you had me wanting to dance through every pose.

It was such a fun reminder that movement can bring people together, and sometimes all it takes is a girls’ night, good people, and a little movement to leave feeling recharged.

Moral of the story: clearly I can’t be taken to yoga. Give me good music, good company, and I’ll be dancing in downward dog instead of finding my inner peace. 😂🤍

Already looking forward to the next one. ✨
