One of the first things we did when we moved into our house was have it blessed. Our boys watched in awe as Fr. Reed went room to room sprinkling holy water from his aspergillum. Fr. included the boys in the blessing and joined us for dinner afterwards. He ended the night with a backflip, which may have just convinced my boys that a priestly vocation is pretty awesome. 😄
