for the longest time i’ve felt imposter syndrome, constantly trying to figure out where i fit in. no matter what space i was in, i’d constantly have to prove i belonged, despite being qualified. my hard work was never enough.

my hard work was more than enough to show MYSELF that powerlifting is for me. i love all forms of fitness because your results are a direct reflection of your efforts. i had so many breakdowns during this prep, scared that i would underperform. i was constantly reminded that what you give is what you get, and i gave my all, in practice and on the platform.

thank you @cranonnn for creating a space where we can thrive and constantly reminding us that its just the bar. as someone who has struggled with feeling secure in her femininity, i plan to join you in showing everyone that strong is beautiful.

thank you to @harlemfury for taking me under his wing for the last 2 weeks of training and significantly making me better 🫂

shoutout to my friends, my supporters and loved ones for constantly speaking life into me as i venture into this new journey 🥰🥰🥰🥰 taken in Alphaland by @fumsss
