Given the systemic funding gap for Black innovators and thinkers, a group of HBCU alums seeks to be the difference.

Hailing from Morgan State University, the innovative group has launched Fund.FWD. The AI-powered app serves as a new way for HBCU entrepreneurs and creatives to connect with industry leaders and bring their ideas to life.

Available now on the app store, Fund.FWD allows users to source funding opportunities, business coaching, and educational resources all within its database. It aims to connect these change-makers with current leaders in their fields, thus closing the accessibility gap.

Last year our team had a vision to create something bigger than ourselves. A platform that could reach marginalized founders, students, & creatives globally - beyond the reach of our accelerator, office hours, conferences, & other spaces. This platform would be the culmination of assets that we provide - funding opportunities, business coaching, educational resources, & more - all in a one-stop shop to help you “Fund Your Future” ⚡️

TODAY - our team is thrilled to announce that Fund.FWD (FundForward) is now available on Apple iOS and Android Google Play! Visit the links in our bio - download it today, share with a friend, and tell us your favorite feature(s) in a reel or post! Join our Premium 👑 Subscription for even greater resources!

We look forward to hearing your feedback, and dropping our v2 early next year for an enhanced experience! #FundYourFuture #FundFWD #Venture4THEM by @venture4them

Less than 1% of businesses will ever receive a national media appearance in their lifetime.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud that Venture For T.H.E.M. was represented on a national stage through our CTO, Jeffrey Scruggs, during a recent appearance on FOX on Tech, distributed across more than 1,300 stations nationwide. @jeffrey.stanford.scruggs

During the interview, Jeffrey shared insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, artificial intelligence, and the confidence required to step onto major stages like Times Square and advocate for ideas that can change lives.

We are grateful to Crystal Berger and @joinebo for helping amplify our mission and creating opportunities for leaders, founders, and organizations to share their stories with the world.

This moment isn’t just about media exposure, it’s about increasing visibility for the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.

🔥 The Light Challenge: App #8 of 50
This one feels like money!
You’re a founder with the idea, the drive, the hustle — but you’re missing capital.
The money is out there. Billions in grants and programs designed for you. But you don’t know they exist. And by the time you find them? Deadline passed.
I built Fund.Fwd to change that.
This mobile app helps entrepreneurs discover funding, learn from real founders, and connect with each other — all in one place.
Here’s how it works:
∙ AI finds opportunities for you — Every week, our AI discovers new grants and programs. Monday morning push notifications bring them straight to you.
∙ VentureAI mentorship — Ask anything. Trained on hundreds of hours of real founder workshops. No generic AI fluff.
∙ Business Showcase — List your business. Get seen by other founders, mentors, and partners.
Built under @venture4them and @majestic.light.group — @venture4them is a Maryland-based accelerator focused on equitable access to capital for entrepreneurs nationwide.
Funding finds you. Nobody gets left behind.
42 apps to go. Let’s keep building. 🔥
Search Fund.Fwd on Apple and Google's App Store, Download now.
