Nicene & Athanasian Creeds are the pillars of our Faith. Scripture is infallible & inerrant.
Christ is the only way to Heaven.
BAPTIZE YOUR BABIES!
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Grace to you,
We appreciate your patience as we rebrand!

Originally, we believed that the "Five Fundamentals of Christianity" best represented our values. We now came to see that is not the case. Our updated channel description reflects not any change to our vision, but a clarification of the views and values we've held and professed all along.

When we first branded ourselves, the seminal concept of a "pan-Christian" channel was met with disbelief. We were told it could not last and our Faith would be sorely tested. We were told it would never succeed. Undeterred, we forged ahead with our mission. Eventually though, it became obvious that ecumenism is possible only at the expense of non-negotiable theological truths as we know them.

We aren't willing to sacrifice our deeply held beliefs, despite our passionate zeal for unity. So instead we are going to seek solidarity, but only to the extent we don't sacrifice our own indispensable tenets and doctrines.

We are paedobaptist Nicene Christians and choose to focus on interdenominational unity with those closest to us in theology. We continue to hold to the infallible authority of Scripture, but will be promoting traditional, patristic Christianity alongside the Gospel.
May the Peace of our Lord Jesus, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be and remain with you ✠

We're thrilled to debut our long awaited Infant Baptism post
🌊🕊️🕯️🔥✝️

Yes the one you've been eagerly anticipating since early June.. and what better time to roll it out than Reformation Month in celebration of our traditional theological roots..
-originally designed back in late May of this year, uploading was delayed due to proofreading + rewriting the slides and also fine tuning the images and selecting the best music to set it to.
This is more than a post about christening infants, it's a deeper view into who we are, and the values that motivate us. Think of this as Artistry meets Apologetics!
It's about highlighting the what, why and WHEN of baptism - from a classical Protestant perspective!
Inspired by a desire to showcase what we stand for, how we conceive of Ecclesial Community, and our loyalty to historical Protestantism; we are taking a stand for our beliefs, and by extension the beliefs of the Protestant Reformation.

Protestantism is a branch of the Western Catholic Church and we descend from an unbroken spiritual lineage to the ancient Christians. We've perfectly preserved the customs of our spiritual ancestors, down through the millenia.

We believe ALL Christians are the People of God, in a direct continual line of descent going back to our Patriarch Abraham. We are children of the New Covenant in our Savior Christ Jesus and thereby heirs to the Old Covenant Yahweh made with His People, the Old Testament Hebrews.
We maintain this continuity by setting ourselves apart - we are the Chosen People tasked with bringing the message of salvation to the world. And we begin with recognition of ourselves as a Covenant community. As such, we are bound to obey the Great Commission - to grow His Kingdom on earth. And we do this beginning with our very own children! And the Lord is adding daily to the number of those being saved!
Sadly, Christendom has split down divergent paths and there are now Believers who do not grasp the concept of the New Covenant, nor its link with the Old.
To them we say: Baptism is an unearned gift of Grace wherein the Holy Spirit seals our precious babies, making them His very own.
And all God's People replied AMEN ✠ by @fundamentalsofchristianity

Blessings from your Fundamentals of Christianity Team ✝

A hearty welcome to all new followers and heartfelt thanks to those who have been with us from the earliest days.
Major shoutout to those who never gave up on us or stopped believing in our mission!

We'd like to share some Wednesday Wisdom with our fellow content creators:
Being chronically online yields satisfying short term algorithm boosts, but in the long run it's a race to a bottomless pit. Engagement waxes and wanes based on unpredictable, whimsical trends. Maintaining constant social media presence comes at a steep price. You desperately put in more effort but still get less clicks. In such scenarios, burn out and fatigue rapidly devolve into despair.

When hope is stretched thin and online exhilaration gives way to IRL exhaustion, we invite you to pause and instead come to the foot of the Cross. Unload any baggage weighing you down. Give it all to Jesus.
Our Savior promised HIS yoke is easy and HIS burden is light!

Take time also to reflect on the shining lives of our departed brothers and sisters who died for the Faith.
We highly recommend researching and exploring historical accounts of the lives of Saints and Martyrs.
There is immense comfort, hope and solace when we join ourselves to the triumphs of spiritual heroes who gave their all in furtherance of the Kingdom. These formidable men and women embraced their calling with courage and fortitude! Down through the ages, their stories continue to inspire and invigorate the next generation of Christ's Militia.

Worth noting is there's nothing we currently face today that those who came before us in battle did not already contend with. Despite all odds they persevered.
We recall them with awe and admiration. We exist in unison with them, for our Lord is not the God of the dead, but of the living. We're not in this alone!

Together with the Communion of Saints who preceded us in battle, we go forth and charge into the unknown.
We're surrounded by a great cloud of Witnesses. As we lift up our supplications to the Almighty, we stay confident knowing prayers are wafting heavenward in the form of incense.

That's PEAK empowerment 𓆩♱𓆪 by @fundamentalsofchristianity

Just a Reformer appreciation post. These men took a bold stand to reform the Church despite persecution and excommunication. Their contributions still shape Protestantism today. Though Reformed/Presbyterians, Lutherans and Anglicans may have disagreements, the three stand out as the Magisterial Protestants.

Top: Martin Luther, John Knox, Philip Melanchthon
Middle: Heinrich Bullinger, John Calvin, Peter Martyr Vermigli
Bottom: Thomas Cranmer, Zacharias Ursinus, William Tyndale
