A lot of people are saving towards retirement without knowing the math.

Knowing your retirement number helps you stop guessing and start working towards an actual goal.

The 25x Rule:
Annual spending × 25 = Your target
Examples:
→ Need $40K/year? You need $1M
→ Need $50K/year? You need $1.25M
→ Need $70K/year? You need $1.75M
If that number feels impossible - you’re not alone. And you’re not too late.

There’s a strategy to hit your retirement number without breaking the bank.

But at 40 + we can’t waste time. Every year you wait costs you.

Listen - the gap between where you are and where you need to be? It’s real. But there’s a way to close it.

A Guardian Woman!!! Still pinching myself! 😳🥺🙏🏾

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds me: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This journey has been nothing short of divine orchestration.

From navigating Canada’s financial system as a newcomer to merging cybersecurity with financial education, families are now transforming their finances because I chose to share what I learned. God has truly turned my struggles into my ministry. I give God all the Glory.

I’m deeply grateful to @estherijewere of @womenofrubies_ for this incredible opportunity to share my story on one of the biggest media space @guardiannigeria @guardian.woman

To every immigrant woman reading this: your dreams don’t shrink when you relocate, they expand. True wealth is financial freedom + digital security + wellness + community impact.

Swipe through for highlights and click the link in bio to read the full interview!

The journey continues. 🙏

Here are 10 digital habits I’ve stopped:

1. Reusing passwords across multiple accounts.

2. Ignoring software updates.

3. Clicking unverified links.

4. Accessing sensitive accounts on unsecured public Wi-Fi.

5. Sharing OTPs or verification codes.

6. Granting apps unnecessary permissions.

7. Trusting unexpected pop-ups.

8. Leaving accounts without MFA.

9. Oversharing personal information online.

10. Assuming I can’t be hacked.

Your digital safety is also your financial safety.

How many of these habits do you still practise?

A good income is great. But income alone doesn't guarantee financial security.

Building wealth requires a strategy: saving, investing, protecting your income and making informed financial decisions.

The earlier you become intentional about your money, the more opportunities you create for your future.

Ready to take your financial planning seriously? Let's talk.

The snow came, whether we were ready or not! ❄️🇨🇦

And that’s a reminder about money too.

Life doesn’t always give us advance notice before unexpected expenses show up.

A car repair. A job loss. An urgent family expense.

That’s why building an emergency fund matters, even if you can only start with a small amount.

You don’t have to build it overnight. Start with what you can, stay consistent, and build gradually.

The best time to prepare for a financial storm is before it arrives.

What’s one financial habit you’re working on before the year ends?

🔐STAY SCAM SMART!

Scammers are getting smarter, but you can make it harder for them to access your money, accounts, and personal information.

Sometimes, one careless click or a shared verification code is all it takes to put your information at risk.

The good news? A few simple security habits today could save you a lot of stress tomorrow.

Your digital safety matters just as much as your financial security.

Stay alert. Stay informed. Stay protected.

What’s one cybersecurity habit you never compromise on?
