Give thanks to Andi for this great experience and meeting the amazing energies and spirits at the Holistic Black Health Master Classses event last weekend. 🔥🔥🔥 I felt a great uplifting vibe. Such a pleasure and honour to drum in the space and with the magical Queens Kehinde and Ava.

The Gumbe drum rhythm has roots in West Africa and is strongly associated with Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau and other parts of the region, where it developed through African and Creole musical traditions. Traditionally played on a large barrel-shaped drum, Gumbe became an important rhythm for dancing, celebration, storytelling and community gatherings.

So proud of the participants and their first attempt at this version of the Kassa drum rhythm at this year's Forest School National Conference.

For me, this was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we connect through play and the universal language of rhythm.

Here's to more upliftment and thrilling drumming experiences 💯🌞💯

The Kassa drum rhythm originates from Guinea, West Africa, and is traditionally associated with the Malinké people and celebrations connected to the harvest. Played with powerful djembe rhythms and supporting drums, Kassa brings people together through dancing, celebration and community connection

Our first FSA conference and it was a blast!!! 💥

Such a wholesome, transformative weekend. We laughed so hard, we PLAYED, we learnt, we shared, we danceddd, we cried, we truly had such a beautiful time and are so grateful to be part of this wonderful wider community.

Thank you everyone whose hands and hearts went into putting this together, and we can’t wait to do it all over again next year! 💚 by @funmilolasworld

🍇🍇🍇It was such a delight to see the various fruit and vegetables that were growing in one of my friend’s garden recently (and a wide variety too) I didn’t realise that the UK climate would be suitable for a number of them.

These grapes (straight from the garden) are such tiny things but ever so sweet and this must be the most delicious grape juice that I’ve drunk in a while. Cheers! 🍇🍇🍇

🎶🌻Maintaining a healthy vibration is essential for cultivating a happy and peaceful life. When our energy is aligned positively, we attract similar energies and experiences.

This alignment fosters resilience against negativity, allowing us to navigate life’s challenges with grace. A high vibrational state enhances our emotional well-being, making it easier to connect with others and find joy in everyday moments. 🌻🎶
