Over 1500 volunteers came today to help the final phase of the road that goes around the whole fish pond at Heeia Kea. It was amazing. Like Menehunes at work. From moving rocks to digging Auwai(the stream of fresh water surrounding the pond) to moving piles of sticks and stumps. From sunrise til 12pm with the ceremony to follow then they fed us. Food from the land. Kalo, Fish and Luau stew. Team work made the Dream work!! I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!!
