BOOM KANANI! Ho, happy birthday uce @funwit_ran !

Big mahalo for teaching me all about Hawaiʻi, kuleana, living off da ʻāina, and all da random local knowledge I never knew I needed 🌱🌺

Thank you for always being a whole bottle of joy, sharing all the things you love, and being da life of the party on our dive trips and snowboarding trips 🌊🏂🏽😂

Stay pono, keep feeding everybody, keep da vibes high, and keep being da guy who somehow turns every trip into one story we probably shouldn’t post. 🤣

Hope you have a meeeean birthday braddah!

I have a history in Hawaii of long 4x4 rides, day and night, rain or shine. Yet here I have not hooked up with like minded souls. But I love the country back roads, the safe ones that is. It is still more beautiful than a freeway! And if I tell you I am headed somewhere and I don’t show up there, best bet is to check any back road in!

Thank-you Raven! she gave me a funny story. I asked for a cider sample, it was advisable to try the dryer less sweet before trying the pressed apple cider. I was pleased there were more than one for sure. And then I saw lilikoi and said “Passionfruit!”

As I finished I recognized the taste and said “I don’t drink.! lol” for the first few seconds she felt bad as she thought maybe she gave a recovering alcoholic the hard sample. I said “no I’m not even accepted in that club!” And a few of us at the counter gave a few good chuckles! She mentioned she would have been mortified had it been the case. It was just a few ounces.

Mainly, she was right the pressed apple non alcoholic cider tasted so much better after the dry hard sample!

If I take to drinking more than I do, for sure will buy that Lilikoi Apple Hard Cider! Someone best just wrap me up and take me home and tell me all the funny things I did! Lol

Have a safe Memorial Day weekend!

Over 1500 volunteers came today to help the final phase of the road that goes around the whole fish pond at Heeia Kea. It was amazing. Like Menehunes at work. From moving rocks to digging Auwai(the stream of fresh water surrounding the pond) to moving piles of sticks and stumps. From sunrise til 12pm with the ceremony to follow then they fed us. Food from the land. Kalo, Fish and Luau stew. Team work made the Dream work!! I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!!

If work gets any harder… Great project in Hawaii with an even greater crew. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks @tylerbjennings for the awesome pics! Mad props to @dot_max_dot for having me out, up, over and around such a beautiful place. Captain @funwit_ran for the best 3 hour tour. Drone pilot on the beach of Hawaii with a DJI Inspire 3 drone
