EXHIBITION OPENING.. Elvarratlan Szálak by Zsofia Rez @funyourslf Alföld Embroidery is held in special regard in Hungary, as it is a highly valued element of its intangible cultural heritage. The tradition and craftsmanship associated with it are passed down from generation to generation in Hungary’s rural areas. Every line, pattern, and element on the fabric tells a story about its creators, their traditions, and their deep connection to the land. Its history dates back to the early 18th century. Characteristic features include large, lush floral motifs, such as pomegranates, tulips, rosettes, drawn freehand. Opening 2nd September / 5pm / walk-ins only by @funyourslf
