Nebula-ous Plans was part of the Out of This World Collection that released in June 2026. It has a black base with lilac-pink-gold-green color-shifting flakes, micro holo glitter and multichrome magnetic effect that shifts purple-pink-magenta-gold. I wish I had used a blurring base to help boost the base (that is way less time than doing a third coat, which I felt like I needed on a couple nails). I used the KBShimmer ring magnet after each coat and again after topcoat. The magnetic effect is a little more subtle than I expected, but the overall effect, with the flakes and the holo and the colors of the magnetic pull... it truly is beautiful.

A Truly 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 Personality released in the June 2026 A Little Bit Lurid set. It is described as having a dusty purple crelly base with aurora shimmer that shifts pink-orange-gold and silver light reflective glitter. It was full coverage in two coats, but the third coat deepened the color just a bit. The shimmer in this is so beautiful, and paired with the dusky base, it gives me sparkling sunset vibes.

I really like the way the shimmer and base in the Lurid tie with the colors of the magnetic in the KBS. It makes for such a beautiful pairing!

I Go Touch Moss was an August 2026 #PolishPickup selection, part of the "Woodland Magic" theme. It features an olive green jelly base with purple-red shimmer and green iridescent flakes. With the blurring base, it looked good in two coats, but the third deepened the base color to look like the bottle. The contrast of the shimmer and the glimmery, glowy flakes, is really interesting and compelling.

This Seems Like a TRAP was an August 2026 #PolishPickup selection, part of the "Woodland Magic" theme. It is described as a deep forest green, scattered with emerald-blue ghost flakes and blue-teal-emerald-electric blue magnetic effect. I wore it in two coats using the @naileditmagnetics glass bead spinner 2.0 after each coat and again after topcoat. The magnetic pigment was really reactive, and the effect looks incredible. Those ghost flakes... OMG.

American Flag Blue was a July 2026 Color of the Month: Algae Green, and suppored the Transgender Law Center. It features a semi-sheer medium, warm-toned yellowy green base with a mix of blue iridescent flakies and blue light reflective glitter. It is sheer, and even at three coats, I don't think it would look opaque if not for the blurring base I used. It is also very textured-- even with glitter smoother and thick topcoat, it is nowhere near glassy smooth. But the way the bright, crisp blue shines against the grungy yellow-green base is so very compelling. And the sparkle! This polish is gorgeous.

This pairing is giving me life today! Sparkle, grunge, movement, glimmer, green, flashes of bright blue... I am so very smitten.

The Lurid really is grungy in spirit-- so I'm tagging this one for #OctoberPruglyPolishes for the #MonthlyPolishChallenge2026 hosted by @pr3ttyn4i15 and @owllovelacquer. by @furicious

This is my pick for Week 2 of the October2026 #PolishedOpinionsSwatchfest.

Beneath a Starlit Sky was part of the February 2026 Garden Liason set. It features a purple jelly base with linear holographic pigment and aurora shimmer that shifts from blue to purple. It was fully opaque in two coats for me. The linear holo was incredible in the sunshine, but the aurora shimmer really took it over the top. I loved the flashes of blue!

Wearing "Pumpkin Faces" for #GlamNailsChallengeOct26:

Base coat: Cracked Polish Neutralizer (1 coat)
Water-based top coat: Apipila Smudge Free Nail Art Top Coat (1 coat)
Top coat: KBShimmer Clearly on Top (2 coats)
Matte top coat: Cracked Polish Matte Top Coat (1 coat)

After applying the base color and topcoat, I used a makeup sponge to create the mottled background with the navy, periwinkle, and sage. Then I dabbed some Cornflower at the center to give a bit of lightness around were the stamps were going to go. The #nailstamping was done using @whatsupnails Neither Noir and designs from @whatsupnails B072 "No Clowning Around" and @moyra_nailpolish_and_stamping Stamping Plate 114 "Free Falling." I reverse stamped with a bunch of different creme polishes. I finished with a layer of water-based topcoat followed by glossy topcoat followed by matte top coat.

This look turned out pretty close to how I envisioned it, so I'm really happy with it!

The World is a Vampire was a September 2026 #PolishPickup selection, part of the annual "PPUWeen" theme. It is described as being a deep blood red packed with black-red shifting microflakes and scattered holographic pigment. I ended up using three coats (and a blurring base) for full opacity. It looked good at two, but With the jelly base, the third coat deepened the color just a bit more, which I really liked.

This is such a vampy, glittering red-- and the shifty sparks from the multichrome flakes just get me. So beautiful!

Alice was part of the May 2025 Illusions Collection. It features a blue shimmer base with gold magnetic pull. The shimmer base is large particle, so I used a blurring base to help with coverage. Two coats worked well for me, using the KBShimmer ring magnet after each coat and again after topcoat. The magnetic responded well and I really love the movement with this effect.

Blue and gold is a favorite pairing for me, and this polish really sparkles.

The #nailstamping was added using @hit_the_bottle Navy Jones's Locker and a design from their Embrace the Darkside 05 plate. I finished with a layer of water-based topcoat followed by glossy topcoat.

He Rell Right Into Her Vagenda was an October 2025 #HellaHandmadeCreations release, part of the maker's series inspired by the television show, "Fringe." It features a hot pink jelly base with glowy blue-purple shifting shimmer and holographic flakes. The formula is on the sheerer side, so took three coats for full opacity. The holo flakes and shimmer sparkle and shift so beautifully against the vibrant pink base. Fabulous!

Fair Weather Friend was a March 2026 #HellaHandmadeCreations release, part of the maker's "It's Not You It's The Weather!" series. It is described as being a warm brown jelly with blue-green shimmer. It is light in application, so took three coats to build to full opacity for me. This is one that, next time, I'd consider a blurring base coat.

I lvoe the contrast of the cool, blue-green shimmer against the warm, caramel base. Just beautifully prugly!

Base coat: Cracked Polish Neutralizer (1 coat)

After applying the base color and topcoat, the #nailstamping was added using @whatsupnails Neither Noir and designs from @bornprettyofficial BP-L057 (ghosts) and @clearjellystamper "Autumn Solstice" (moon and stars). I reverse stamped using Snowy. All was finished with a layer of water-based topcoat followed by a layer of glossy topcoat.

Cloud Nine was released in the Fall 2019 Collection. I was lucky enough to pick it up in a destash earlier this year. It features a dusty lilac purple satin base with bright aqua-blue shimmer and green-blue iridescent flakes. I suspect the purple base has faded a little, but I think it is pretty close to how it looked on release still. I needed three coats for full opacity and depth of color. I especially love the texture and glow of the iridescent flakes against the super-fine particle shimmer. The polish is so glowy!

This is my pick for Week 1 of the October 2026 #PolishedOpinionsSwatchfest.

Vampires Only was a January 2021 release, part of the first What We Do in the Shadows Collection. It features a black to red multichrome base with a silver magnetic shimmer. I did two coats on my left hand, but, I wasn't seeing too much of a difference, so I left it at one coat on my right hand. I used the KBShimmer ring magnet on my thumb, and the @shimmerhollowshop Charm Caster glass bead spinner on my other nails, magnetizing after each coat and again after topcoat.

Black polish is generally not my vibe-- though I do love a black base with other components and I am a sucker for black-red multichrome. So this polish totally hits the spot for me.
