Challenge: Create a vessel that will safely transport a duck across the river.

What happens when the duck sinks?

Engineers don’t stop.

They ask, “What could I change?”

Our young engineers designed, tested, and improved their vessels, discovering that the best ideas often come after the first attempt.

Some traditions never change. For generations, Museum School children have paused for a photo beside our beloved turtle. Tiny backpacks become graduation caps, but the memories remain.

If you have a Museum School turtle photo, we would love to see it! Share your photo and tag @fwmshmuseumschool so we can celebrate the generations who have been part of this special tradition.

And if your family hasn’t started this tradition yet, we would love to welcome you.

Some of the best conversations happen on the ride home.

“Did you play in the TCU Children’s Gallery?”

“Did you go to Galaxy Park?”

“Did you see a show in the Planetarium?”

“Remember when we built a habitat?”

Sharing Museum School with a sibling means the adventures don’t end when class is over.

Which star burns the hottest?

If you guessed blue, you are thinking like one of our young astronomers.

The greatest compliment we can receive is hearing how Museum School has impacted a child and their family.

Thank you, Anne, for taking the time to share your experience with our community.

Art provides children with another opportunity to think about what they are learning.

By revisiting ideas, children strengthen connections, deepen understanding, and express their learning in meaningful ways.

This week: life in and around the Trinity River.

It was a week of engineering designs taking shape, science experiments unfolding, museum field trips, little fingers covered in slime, and rocket launches.

We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

If happiness had a texture, it might be shaving cream. Some experiences are just too much fun to stay clean!
