Music works in mysterious ways!

Something really cool happened at our gig on Saturday night. Our beautiful client, Sophie, booked the FX 4 piece band and had requested sax 🎷 2 weeks out from her party I had asked Sophie if she had any special requests and she requested the song, Dancing2 by Kelli Holiday. I’d mentioned to her that we don’t do it but will be sure to play it for her during the break. She then mentioned oh it’s got a cool sax part and I really want saxophone because of that song.

On Saturday during sound check my laptop was open and Ash was sitting in front of it and he saw the song on my playlist and he was like, “ oh hey, I played the sax part on that track 🤯”

I was completely mind blown. This song meant a lot to Sophie, and to be able to share this story with her was honestly the highlight of my night. Pure joy 🤩 #fxband #livemusic #brisbanebands #brisbanemusic #keliholiday by @fxband_au

Apparently I'm incapable of not seeking out performers to photograph. The city of Brisbane is undeniably a performer in the truest sense but @eatstreet is truly next level and the talented musicians and dancers and DJ elevate the craft. by @fxband_au
