Apparently I'm incapable of not seeking out performers to photograph. The city of Brisbane is undeniably a performer in the truest sense but @eatstreet is truly next level and the talented musicians and dancers and DJ elevate the craft.

✨✨The glimmers✨✨

Life as we all know, throws a great many challenges, at almost every age & stage.

Friendship like this, that has endured & strengthened is a most valuable, precious gift.

@michael_manikus is an incomparable musician & true delight of a human. I’m always proud & honoured to call him friend. Allowing me to just casually sit-in on one of his gigs (jazz too!) was for teenage# & 40-something yr old me, the stuff dreams are made of ✨ (that familiarity aside - I openly admit to being beyond nervous, but stepping into the moment with determination..)

During & since our high school music days we’ve shared a lot of highs & lows. That’s what mates do. We’re also old enough now to look back & reflect on some of our most formative experiences & those who influenced so greatly.
Miss J - this is for you 🎶 👩‍🏫✨

These recordings were captured by Micky’s wife @georgiemanikus (insanely talented singer @fxband_au - go give them a follow🎤🙌🏻) who has encouraged & supported my musical endeavours as much as MM 🙏🏻 It’s G you can hear having a giggle & cheer from behind the camera 🤗

Think bag pipes and AC/DC … that’s how you get guests attention!
