💗As I was creating this mural, I was inspired by the fact that the American Girl brand celebrated girlhood and inclusivity. I wanted to highlight young girls seeing themselves in this mural with different styles, fashion and nationalities. In the mural, I wanted each doll to have their own distinct style and color pallet giving them their own personality. 💕Fashion and styling have always been a part of my DNA and it was so much fun to be able to style each doll with the American Girl clothing and put my touch on each one. The best part of creating this mural was being able to piece together the bright colors, happiness, and essence from the store onto a wall celebrating their grand opening. As I was painting each girl and adding the brand elements and colors, I started feeling a special connection with the dolls and the brand itself.  It’s so surreal to see my work blown up onto this wall and being able to contribute celebrating the brand that’s giving so many smiles and happiness to kids everywhere. 💖Seeing it completed has given me such a sense of accomplishment and pride knowing the time and effort I’ve spent into this piece. 💗💗💗 Love you guys so much and ty for being along with me on my journey✨✨✨😘😘 This is the very first time seeing my creations come to life in a retail store!!!! Being included in the UTme! collection with @uniqlo and @uniqlousa has seriously been such an honor!💗 Seeing my designs here at the @galleriadallas is incredibly unbelievable. I’ve loved seeing all the stages of this project from the first rough sketches in my sketchbook to digitizing it on my iPad then being able to see people take my designs off the rack and purchasing what I’ve spent so much of my time creating. Everything started from my sketchbook filled with different ideas, many late nights and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Me and my family have been such huge UNIQLO fans since I was a little girl and I never would have thought I would design for such an iconic and innovative brand and be able to see my own work in their stores.
