We are starting off the quarter with a geography welcome back social + mental mapping workshop 🗺️ Come hang out, meet your peers, and get to know other students in geography and adjacent fields. We’ll spend some time making mental maps and thinking about how we experience and imagine the spaces around us.

We’ll be asking ourselves:
→ what is a mental map?
→ how do you perceive your environment?
→ where do you see yourself in the future?

The GA Board will provide paper and drawing tools for the workshop, as well as some blankets to hang out on. But the more the merrier, so feel free to bring your own blanket, snacks, journal, sketchbook, or something hardcover to draw on.
