There are so many amazing parents and spouses doing ministry together, but I wasn’t on track to being one of them haha

the ministry models I saw growing up prioritized “kingdom impact” over everything

and despite running from it, I knew that I had to make a choice about how my pace and focus would shift when we had our son

I knew that if I continued going down the path I was on, I would be doing so in spite of what I felt from the Lord for this season

21 year old me would probably look at my life today and say I’m wasting the gifts God gave me

but 21 year old me was a zealous dummy who didn’t know ball

at 26 I still have zeal to see people know Jesus, but I understand my priorities clearly now and I’m grateful for the people who were able to speak into my life in order to help me see what matters most by @gabegarsia

To our first born,

What was life without you?
You’ve taught us to love deeper, have more patience, and slow down (even though you grow so fast).

thank you for 5 years of youth ministry, it’s been an honor ❤️

I had no idea that what started in a tiny chapel with about 10 kids would turn into a place of encounter, transformation and community unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed all because God showed up consistently.

there is so much I’ll never be able to put into words but:

to the ones who
* were just passing through
* showed up with doubts about God but kept showing up
* showed up because your parents forced you to
* showed up high (not just you Ash lol)
* answered every altar call
* gave their time to see Youth follow Jesus (SHOUTOUT DREAM TEAM)
* just needed prayer and friendship
* opened up and shared their struggles and found freedom in surrender
* listened to a 20-something year old talk about Jesus for 30 minutes once a week
* believed in the calling on my life
* trusted their students and kids with us for conferences

each of you have made these last 5 years unforgettable and I will always be grateful for you

to @taylorrgarsia my amazing wife who married into it but embraced it and was absolutely incredible at pastoring 🫶🏽

to @graciayouthh for being the place where I got to see the Lord’s faithfulness and to @graciachurchoficial for blessing me with the opportunity to lead ❤️ by @gabegarsia
