the ministry models I saw growing up prioritized “kingdom impact” over everything
and despite running from it, I knew that I had to make a choice about how my pace and focus would shift when we had our son
I knew that if I continued going down the path I was on, I would be doing so in spite of what I felt from the Lord for this season
21 year old me would probably look at my life today and say I’m wasting the gifts God gave me
but 21 year old me was a zealous dummy who didn’t know ball
at 26 I still have zeal to see people know Jesus, but I understand my priorities clearly now and I’m grateful for the people who were able to speak into my life in order to help me see what matters most

It’s really not a matter of right or wrong, or even about whether we’re doing more or less for the Lord… it’s a matter of seasons and priorities. As the seasons change, sometimes our priorities need to change as well. We serve God no less, we only serve him in a different role. Responsible parents understand this; but a lot of other people (specially looking from the outside) will not. This is why we humbly ask the Lord for the guidance to know how to proceed and the strength to disregard what others tell us once our assignment has been made clear. God bless you guys!

This season will bring so many learnings you will use now for the future to impact many ❤️ you have only seen the beginning. God only goes BIGGER and BIGGER. When we don’t see how it could get “any better” it does 🙌 keep building that relationship and lean in on where He is leading you, because there is MORE to come
