2. KOINOBORI #kawafitober26day2

Already falling behind on these! Had to crop this sketch to get this one out. I don’t love the composition, but they can’t all be gems. It’s the action and practice that counts. #kawafitober26 #illustration #koinobori by @gabepdf

YOU AS A DEMON #kawafitober26day1

Hi everyone! My name is Gabe, 30y/o, (my birthday is in 9 days!) and I currently live in Long Beach with my girlfriend and our two pups. I’m a designer by day, and spend my nights and weekends drawing, riding my bike, and getting into other hobbies and projects.

I’ve spent the last 10 years as a designer, but i’ve been making art for as long as i can remember. I’ve dabbled every medium (except oil) but stick to digital now. Every now & then, i’ll whip out the color pencils and markers 🤓

i’m STOKED to be participating in another drawtober challenge, 2nd time baby! I’m also excited to see all the great art and hopefully meet (e-meet? idk) a few new friends. Best of luck to everyone, and let’s have some fun! by @gabepdf

Finally completed this sketchbook!! I wish everyone could feel how good this feels! Heres a quick flip through it all with a few highlights. If i wasn’t so scatter-brained, this would’ve have been completed sooner but the reality is that I have 3-4 sketchbooks in rotation at any given time. by @gabepdf

Illustration & Type I drew up for @straydawgs.la from a few months back.

I’m surprised I never posted this, my brain must have been in a million different places. I really love this one, I hardly mix illustration with type nowadays. by @gabepdf

Living in a dense neighborhood has its pros and cons. Parking sucks but at least I get to see a bunch of different breeds that live here, including this pair of dotted darlings. #digitalillustration #creativeillustration #lifesketch #sketchbook #micron

Quickie illustration. Been thinking a lot about clothing and my wardrobe lately, and how I wish I could start over sometimes. I could’ve been more intentional and bought less garbage over the years. I can’t help but to feel icky participating in fashion commerce. And frankly, I can hardly afford to participate in the avenues that facilitate sustainable practices. It all feels a bit dystopic. by @gabepdf
