🇫🇷👨‍🍳 I am celebrating 55 years of professional cooking as a Chef. I started my apprenticeship on the 4 October 1971 with master chef Albert Augereau and his son Michel at their family restaurant Auberge Jeanne de Laval in the Loire valley village of Les Rosiers sur Loire in the Anjou region. You ❤️Easy Recipe for Almond Biscotti! Keep it, try it, master it , share it and follow me for more simple recipes ❤️ In a bowl beat 180g caster sugar with 2 eggs for a few minutes. Mix in 200g plain flour mixed with a pinch of salt and a tsp of baking powder. Season with a tbsp of finely grated orange or lemon zest or a tsp of vanilla essence. Mix in 150g almonds. Shape 2 dough loafs about 22 cm long on an oven tray lined with baking paper. ( it does’t need to be perfect) Bake in preheated oven at 180C for about 20 minutes until a little brown and a little firm. Remove from oven and wait for 5 minutes before diagonally cutting biscotti into a little over 1 cm. pieces. ( don’t worry if some break a little. . Turn biscotti on flat side and bake at 160C for a further 5 minutes on each side until dry and light brown. #biscotti #homecooking #weekend #delicious #almondbiscotti by @gabriel_gate

👨‍🍳❤️ 💚💛M&M Cookie Recipe❤️ combine 120g soft butter with 160g mix of 1/2 caster and 1/2 brown sugar. Add one egg, a little vanilla essence. Add 220g plain flour and 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda and a pinch of salt and carefully combine. Add about 100 g of M&M and combine. Divide dough into about 15 walnut size mounts that you place on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Flatten a little and top each biscuit with 2 or 3 M&M. Bake for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven at about 175C until lightly brown. Enjoy with the kids!❤️ #fun #cookies #homemade #kidsplay #foodstagram by @gabriel_gate

👨‍🍳 My easy recipe: In a bowl mix 150g almond meal with 135g icing sugar and 1tbsp or 2 of finely grated lemon or orange zest. Beat 2 egg whites until just foamy and fold into almond, sugar mix. Transfer biscuit mix in a piping bag fitted with an open star nozzle ( looks like teeth see footage) pipe biscuits on a tray lined with baking paper. It makes between 8 or 12 biscuits. Top with half a red or green glacé cherry. It is good to refrigerate uncooked biscuits for 1/2 hour before baking in a preheated oven at 175C for about 15 minutes until at little golden brown on top but still a little soft at the center. #biscuit #cookies #delicious #homemade #viral by @gabriel_gate
