At #shedbakery we sometimes get #starstruck 😋. Our dearest @mattscravat and @gabriel_gate understand the story and reason behind @ketbaker and its such an honor to be supported by these very important foodies (thanks guys, you are awsome).
This one came from a different angle and I ll admit, i was blown away 🤫. @the_real_cadel has a big heart for #goodfood and discovered our bakery on the much loved #bellarinepeninsula ! He loves us so much that he decided to support us, mentioning #shedbakery for the @cadelroadrace . Im just SO insanely honored and humbled. All that hard work, building a strong team, which is not easy, improving everything we do constantly, what a recognition!

This mention, which came out of nowhere, keeps on bringing tears in my eyes. Thank you so so much, and also thank you to all my amazing customers that supported me through the incredible hard and rough first 2 years at #shedbakery .

What I really loved is that Cadel is as sad as I am that in Europe the #goodfood scene is not doing well. People there don't want to (or even worse, cant 😔) pay the #righprice for food anymore. The consequence is everything is becoming big corporate and entire nations wallets are drained towards only a few big entities. think about it, do you really want that this to happen?
#foodsovereignty is so important for so many reasons, food needs to be diverse, it needs to come as much as possible from our local soils, our local hands and it NEEDS to include the love from the people who make it (this is one of the reasons why the happiness of my team is so important to me).
It is the only way to create diversity outside AND inside ourselves.
An interesting outer AND inner world, we all want that, don't we?
Food needs to be a part of the community.
Here is another good reason: This tiny bakery employs 15 people, compare that to any food-factory and for the same amount of food made, they will employ a much less amount of people, resulting in less employment and vastly bigger profits.
It is essential we bring food back to the people. This IS @ketbaker
