Oh my goodness where did 900 of you come from?!?! I guess I should put a face (kinda) to this account🥰

I was never a reader growing up, all I’d read was Harry Potter, Twilight & The hunger games. I was then a reading a couple of books whilst on holiday kind of girlie and this year I wanted to change that. I’d set myself a goal to read a book a month (didn’t feel as intimidating!) I’m trying to find myself one book at a time and thought I’d document myself falling in love with reading🥰

I am in my early 30’s & from London. I have a full time corporate job which involves a lot of travelling. Dancing, gyming, socialising, baking and cooking brings me so much joy and I love a Prosecco or three!🥂

This community has welcomed me arms wide open and I’m so pleased I started this little account. I truly enjoy connecting with you all, picking up recommendations for books I’ve never even heard of and adding them to my ever growing TBR list!

There’s going to be 10000’s of books I’ve not read yet so hit me with your top ones and I’ll try to get round to them🥰🤍🤍

Threshing Day baby🎉🎉🎉 My only complaint…WHYS IT SO SHORT!!!!!! I’m not going to say anything about the plot incase others haven’t got round to it yet. But another fab read, different format to the previous books but I think that must mean it’s incredibly important for the next book? I’m going to leave this one here so I’m not talking in riddles 😂 GIMME THE NEXT ONE!!!!!

Aw I really enjoyed this one. I am very much into what if you made this choice rather than that one, how would life have turned out? This book is very much that. It makes you reflect on your life’s choices and what it really means to you to be happy, successful, to live life to the full with no regrets. I really related to the main character, I often worry have I made the right decisions, am I doing what I should be / could be, I thought I’d be here by now on this invisible timeline I set myself and so on and so on, so trying out various lives to see what could have been was such an interesting take!

Swipe for a much more eloquent quote than I could ever come up with! 🤍

Thank you to @thesistersnarrative for the recommendation, very much enjoyed it🥰

The last 5 books I added to my TBR list! I’d love to know what was the last book you added to your wish list?! I’m calling it a wish list from now on because every time I come on here I add another 10 books😂😂😂

The coworker - a quick fun Freida read, I guessed right but for all the wrong reasons😂 In true Freida fashion twists and turns you definitely don’t see coming! Everything she writes has a reason and ties into the plot one way or another! Not my fave Freida read but a quick enjoyable read nonetheless🥰

Second instalment of the twisted series and I really enjoyed this one, more than the first! A princess, forbidden love & blackmail, what’s not to enjoy😂 I did think some of the timelines didn’t make sense but it was enjoyable nonetheless. I’m going to hit pause on this series for now. Like I said after book one, it’s obvious who in the friendship groups going to end up with who, I think I just get a bit bored / the books are a bit samey after the second / third one. So unless someone tells me the next two are unputdownable and I absolutely must read them I’ll pause it here for the time being☺️

A walking red flag man & a gorgeous young bright starry eyed woman, you know I’m going to enjoy this one!😂 I really liked that the plot doesn’t shy away from showing love as dark, complicated and healing all at the same time. I think, like most books like this, it’s obvious who in the friendship groups going to end up with who and I’m assuming the next three books will follow the other characters. Yes, parts were predictable and some were drawn out a bit too long but I think sometimes, especially with these type of books, you just enjoy the story for what is it and romanticise the shit out of everything… especially the morally grey/red flag men! And this my friends, is why I am single😂😂😂😂😍😍😍

I have been on a roll with 5⭐️ books! This one was bloody brilliant I couldn’t put it down I read it in one go😱 I could feel myself reading faster and faster, the anticipation of what was going to happen next. I was knackered by the end😂 It was heart pounding, page turning and I just couldn’t catch my breath trying to get to the finish to see what was going to happen! Loved this one and as someone who loves to be in the water, I may take a moment before I next hop in 😬😂

I thought I’d do a ‘what’s on my kindle’ post. I have 27 unread books & I have the new Fourth Wing and ACOTAR on pre-order so 29 reads. Dare I say I am hoping to read them all by the end of the year😱 that’s so funny I said that considering I started the year wanting to read a book a month! Anyone else’s TBR grow by 10 books every time they come on here😂 I’m on the second of the Twisted Love series at the moment🥰

Is there any on here I absolutely must read first?

You have to read this. I picked it up and just couldn’t put it down! Hooked from the get go! This is the first court room legal thriller book I’ve read and my god what a great read. Truly! I did guess a couple of the story lines but that really didn’t lessen the impact of the plot, I also love the dual POVs and jumps in timelines. And the ending🤯🤯🤯 It’s clever, creative and full of suspense, I would 100000% recommend this one!
