Hi! I’m Sara Stoesz. Whoever can guess how to pronounce last name gets a prize. lol. There’s been a lot of new faces on here recently. So, welcome. I don’t usually post my face but recently people have been saying I don’t look like my profile photo from when I was like 16….?! So, I thought it was time for a refresh!! Some fun facts about me: - Married to my best friend, Abraham. (Abraham + Sara)… if you know the Bible story:) -Currently live in South Dakota. Born in Michigan. Might be moving to Cali?! TBD. -Grew up going allllll over the country camping out of my dad’s decked out van. So sick. -I’m decently athletic. I’m old now though so I stick to pickleball. -Attended Dordt University. Lived with 7 girls in a 2 bedroom townhome. Loved it. -Coffee tastes good but gives me the shakes. So, it’s a special occasion thing for me now. -Saying “no” is superrrrrr hard for me. -Lifting is fun. Strong is cool. -My husband has turned me into an early bird BUT if we are apart I will revert back to my editing until 2:00am life. -23 years of age. -I love all people but have an especially soft spot for adults with special needs. -I’m an aunt. I take my aunt duties very seriously. -I’m a jack of all trades, master of none… type person. -You’d think I was an extrovert if you just met me but I’m more of an introvert:) -I REALLY want the photography community to be community over competition focused. -I love Jesus!! Anyway. HMU. Let’s be friends. Also, shoutout to @anikabphotography she KILLED THESE PHOTOS. I had such a vision for these head shots and she NAILED IT. I even asked her to shoot them on my camera so I could edit them to be cohesive with my feed… high maintenance much?! BUT SHE DID. How sweet of her?! A wedding weekend done right. Parker & Alaina’s wedding was thoughtful, intentional, and truly authentic. If you get married in a place like Maine you have to lean into the vibe… and let me tell you they did it FLAWLESSLY. From choosing the most beautiful venue on the harbor, vows on the Otter cliffs, an authentic lobster bake, boating around the lighthouses, hiking in Acadia, and everything personally embroidered on anything red white or blue… it was perfect. What was even more perfect were the people. You guys rock. Alaina & Parker, your people rock. Your families rock, your friends rock. Abe and I truly felt like family. Photography is the best because it opens the door to reconnecting with old friends!! Every time someone I once knew reaches out, my heart gets so happy. That was the case with Ross & Erica!! We met about 8ish years ago while volunteering during Special Needs Week at the Conference Grounds.
