πŸŸ₯ 92/365 HOW DO YOU APPROACH PAINTING HAIR⁉️ Today we will discuss some tips and approaches for painting hair. There’s no right or wrong way to paint hair, but here are some techniques to make it a little easier to get started. I have found the easiest way to approach hair is to chunk it into big value patterns. Don’t start by trying to paint every little strand of hair. Instead, try finding large shapes and values in the hair. Close one eye and squint at your reference. This will eliminate most details and leave you with the most important elements. You can add as much detail as you want later. But if you start with big shapes it gives you a solid foundation from which to work. (πŸ‘†πŸ»SWIPE TO SEE ANOTHER EXAMPLE.) Here is another tip: if you want to add finer details, try just adding a few, instead of making all the hair detailed. A few stray hairs outside the main masses and a few highlights will be sufficient. One way to get some sharp lines is to scrape in a few lighter hairs with the end of the brush handle. This can also add a unique textural dimension you can’t always get with a brush. And Just remember: It’s as easy as πŸ”€(Always Be Creating) Your friend, Bry β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” 🎁 Get a FREE print on Gallerybry.com.
