After four years of work, a solo developer broke down in tears after seeing his game make nearly $250,000 in just one week 👀🎮

Cakez, the creator of indie tower defense game Tangy TD, has been documenting development from the very beginning, sharing the entire journey with his community 🤯

When the game launched, he initially reacted to earning over $30,000 on day one, but things quickly escalated. A week later, the game had generated $245,123 in gross revenue, with over 28,000 copies sold 😮

In a now-viral clip, Cakez is seen bursting into tears as he checks the numbers, while his wife celebrates beside him 😭

He said: "I feel like I really don't deserve this"

He added: "It's so amazing to see how many people have come out to support me, essentially, and what I do. It's just crazy. I really don't know what to say. I don't know why people are so nice. I don't get it, man."

GameStop has officially labeled the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U as “retro” consoles 🎮👀

The move has sparked debate online, with many fans shocked to see systems from the late 2000s and early 2010s now grouped into the retro category 🤯

For plenty of players, though, these consoles are still home to some of the best games ever made, making the “retro” label a tough one to accept 😬 by @gamingbible
