June is National Foster a Pet Month! 💚🏡

This month, we’re celebrating the incredible foster carers who help our greyhounds take their very first steps into pet life.

Foster carers play such a special role in helping these beautiful dogs build confidence, learn new skills, and prepare for their forever families. Their patience, kindness, and dedication truly change lives.

Watching a greyhound come out of their shell and discover the joys of home life is something truly special, and we’re so grateful to every foster carer who makes that journey possible.

If you’ve ever fostered a greyhound before, we’d love to hear about it! Share a photo in the comments below of your past or current foster greyhound, including those foster fails!

Walkies time, hoomans!

It’s National Walk Your Dog Week, so we’re celebrating one of our favourite things, getting out and about with greyhounds.

From leisurely neighbourhood strolls to special adventures, walks are a wonderful way for greyhounds and their hoomans to explore, sniff, socialise and spend quality time together.

And judging by all these happy faces from Sunday’s Great Global Greyhound Walk, we think they’d agree! 🥰🐕

PUPDATE: “Rory has officially found his forever family, and we couldn’t be happier.

He has settled in so beautifully and is the sweetest addition to our family. He is incredibly patient with our little girls, always up for a snuggle, has quickly claimed the title of King of the Couch. Now that he is feeling more confident he absolutely loves a good zoomie around the backyard and a wrestle with one of his many toys.

He has also been amazing with our best friend’s dog, and our walks together have been so calm and positive. It has been so special watching him grow in confidence and become more comfortable in his new home.

He truly is the sweetest, most perfect boy, and we feel so lucky that Rory chose us.”

PUPDATE: “We instantly fell in love with our gorgeous Peppa (formerly Princess) and she has brought so much light into our lives. She was definitely a little shy and reserved during her first few weeks, but watching her come out of her shell has been such a joy! She gets so much attention on our morning walk to the local coffee shop and rightfully so, she is just the prettiest girl.

She’s super playful, loves her zoomies and nap time and has discovered just how comfortable the couch is so she now spends most of her day there 😂 We call her our little velcro dog because she follows us into every room and wants to come everywhere we go!”

What a great turnout for today’s Great Global Greyhound Walk at Arana Hills. We had a whopping 47 greyhounds and sighthounds turn up for sniffaries, chilled walkies and to meet other greyhound lovers.
