The South Devon coast looks a little different at this time of year. Clearer mornings, wilder seas, muddy walks along the coast path and evenings enjoying cocktails in the restaurant, watching the last of the light disappear across the water.⁠

Introducing Sunday roasts at Gara Rock. ⁠
A good Sunday should start with a coastal walk and end with an exceptionally good gravy.⁠
⁠
Our new Sunday roast features locally sourced Devon rump cap, brined overnight, coated in our signature Gara rub and smoked in-house over cherry wood for four hours.⁠
⁠
Served with golden, crispy roast potatoes, rich cauliflower cheese with charred florets, slow-cooked red cabbage and a gravy that's been three days in the making.⁠
⁠
And if you've saved room for pudding, as you ought to, our freshly baked croissant bread and butter pudding with homemade crème anglaise is well worth staying for.⁠
