Is That Garage? – The Boat Party takes the sound to the water for a night of pure UKG and speed garage. On board, Zacattacq, Garçon, and ChampagneMuma bring heavy basslines, crisp percussion, and that unmistakable swing that defines the genre.

Curated by Paully and OldShane, Is That Garage? has become a cornerstone of Melbourne’s garage community, known for keeping things authentic with a monthly residency at The Toff. This special edition moves the dancefloor to the river — no gimmicks, just the music and the people who get it.

When the cruise wraps, the night continues at The Toff from 10:30pm for the official afterparty.

UKG and speed garage, done properly.

Kicking things off at The Jazz doof vol 3 we welcome our dear friends and all time legends @garcon.wav 🌹

Crew gonna be setting the tone for the party, and provided the heat whilst you take on the bull ride 🐂

Garçon is the dancefloor-loving duo of Paully and Old Shane, two long-time friends and music heads who know exactly how to get the party moving. Whether it’s a sweaty club set, a rooftop session, or an anything-goes late-night slot, their energy is infectious, their selections unpredictable, and the vibe always immaculate.

Drawing from a wide palette—funky house, throwback cuts, cheeky edits, and feel-good bangers—Garçon serves up sets that keep feet moving and faces smiling. Fun, playful, and just the right amount of chaotic, they don’t take themselves too seriously… except when it comes to delivering a killer time.

IS THAT GARAGE? VOL 7
🗓 Saturday August 30
🕙 Doors at 10PM
🎟 Free Entry
📍 The Toff in Town – Naarm/Melbourne CBD

The dance returns. Is That Garage? is back for Vol 7 bringing another late-night session of UKG, Speed Garage, 2-Step and all things swung, soulful, and bass-driven.

This isn’t just a party—it’s a movement. Born from a deep love for the UK underground, ITG is all about community, rhythm, and release. No egos, no fluff—just proper tunes, packed floors, and DJs that know how to make it move.

@paulllys and @oldshane have been friends for 3 years and the concept of Garçon started at Meredith — a spark of an idea to team up with no rules, no fixed genre, just a shared love for creating the right energy.

Since then, it’s been about crafting moments — whether that’s playing at pop-up DJ picnics in the park or shutting down a stage at Aura Festival. We’re not here to fit into a box, we’re here to bring the vibe, wherever that takes us.

This is just the beginning.
