We sat down with Jen Chapin for Stage Talk with Rick Koster to hear what it’s like to carry Harry Chapin’s songs back onto the stage alongside family. Her uncles Steve and Tom and bassist John Wallace were with Harry from the beginning, and this Saturday night, they’re all coming to the Garde.

She talks about growing up in a musical family, sharing a stage with her grandfather, and the activism that runs through the Chapin legacy, including WhyHunger, which Harry co-founded in 1975. As she puts it, “the audience senses that connection and appreciates it.”
