A three-day weekend in October? We're making the most of this one!

From a blacklight corn maze (wear your neon!) to Fraggle Rock on stage, a Taylor Swift sing-along, and a free immersive art festival at The Bushnell, there's a little bit of everything happening around Connecticut.

You can also sample heirloom apples and take a Clydesdale wagon ride at Old Bishop Farm!

There are some great opportunities to celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day, too, including special programming at the Institute for American Indian Studies and a full day of exploring at the Connecticut Science Center.

And if you've got Monday off with the kids, even better!

Save this one for the long weekend, and find more family fun at the link in our bio.

I’m so fortunate that I got to be the music director for the Garde Arts Center’s centennial celebration! It was such an incredible journey to bring this event to life, but it was incredible to see the whole community come together because they love this space, they love New London, and they love a good show!

This whole event would not have been possible without my incredible fiancée @carinjennieestey, from writing the script, designing the Mystic Lounge in the Oasis Room, to booking the jugglers and magicians and dancers, finding the costumes, stage managing the show, she’s a superhero and I’m so proud of her and all the work she put in to make this show happen.

The Garde really pulled out all the stops, literally! It was a joy to play percussion and foley sound effects with a live theater organist!

So blessed that New London is full of incredible talent, and that the Garde let me fill every space with some of the best jazz players in the area.

It really was A Night To Remember!
