We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came out to our launch and grabbed a mug, tee, or bag of coffee (and a special shout out to the heads who collected the full set!). The response to this collaboration has been unreal, and we’ll be putting out heads together for the next project together very soon. A special thank you to our friends @highnote_____ for all of their support and for having us in their beautiful space. The Weather Channel is one of the most exciting emerging entities in the Melbourne streetwear scene. In an environment where starting a brand seems to rarely entail more than having an Instagram account and a logo, Mike Kennedy's approach to design is refreshingly old-school. Implementing his skills as an illustrator, designer and curator, Kennedy's Weather Channel weaves together a unique visual language pulled from film, golden-era streetwear, and vintage Americana, forecasting what is worth paying attention to, and what we should rediscover. Mike asked us to make some coffee to accompany the Milk Glass mugs he meticulously manufactured in Gifu, Japan, and help build out a focused capsule collection. The brief was no house blends, just the best stuff, straight up, presented with his characteristic flair. We tapped the savants at @pathmelbourne to bring us some of the best coffee of the season, and together we are thrilled to offer an exquisite Naturally processed Kurume from Ethiopia. Clean, lively and brimming with Elderflower sweetness, this isn't your old head's cup of mud. Together we are launching this collaborative capsule tomorrow night, Saturday 8th, exclusively at High Note, Northcote, from 6pm until late. Try it and you'll like it! by @gardenofseven_

Milk glass is a type of vintage tableware popular in the U.S. during the mid-1900’s. The designs are printed in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, renowned for Mino Ware, where skilled craftsmen meticulously apply and prepare each piece by hand using a water transfer technique before firing. Join us this Saturday for the release of these handcrafted milk mugs, along with a special collaborative tee and premium roasted coffee beans with @mudcoffeeprojects, pairing nicely with the custom cocktails we have in store for you. 6pm-late at @highnote_____ by @gardenofseven_

In our fourth Studio Visit, we explore the creative space of Montreal-based artist Dan Climan. Known for his dreamlike works, Dan blends nostalgia and surrealism, drawing inspiration from vintage cinema, personal memories, and mid-century design, among other influences. Dan is one of our favourite artists, so it was a pleasure to have him on board for some questions and photos.
