“The Dakota Still Bleeding”
was inspired after meeting John Lennon’s son. He told me sometimes it feels like the world has stopped caring about his father.
That conversation made me think about life, legacy, and how quickly time moves on.

“The Dakota Still Bleeding” is written from a very personal perspective. It’s not about John Lennon’s story it’s about imagining my own. The song is me describing what my day would be like if I knew it was my last one in NYC.
