Kano International Poetry Festival Day 1 @kapfest
‎
‎Theme: "Reclaiming Languages"
‎
‎Yesterday at KAPFEST, we reclaimed and celebrated our indigenous languages, including Hausa, Igala, Yoruba, Igbo, Fulfulde, Kanuri, and others.
‎
‎The day featured incredible panel sessions and culminated in the highly anticipated Mudi Spikin Poetry Slam.
‎
‎Indeed, it was a day to remember.
Kudos to @kapfest @poetic_wednesdays and all the creative organizations that supported. @poetic.echos @zaure.comm

Love was never meant to feel like something you had to earn through exhaustion. 💔💔
‎
‎Love isn’t supposed to heal you from the last one. It’s supposed to meet you where healing already happened. Two people choosing consistency and two people choosing safety. 🌹🌹💙

Do you believe in that magical process where your heart is taken instantly by someone and you start imaginating a world together?

Well, that magic do exist but with the right partner. by @gasma_ng

"I didn't hurt you, I just loved you in the only way I thought was love."

What was your own experience of pain?
