It started with a simple idea: bring good people into one room and let real conversations happen.

The first edition of Social Kandura Majlis brought together creators, founders, entrepreneurs and some of Dubai’s most interesting voices for an intimate evening of honest perspectives and meaningful connections.

Featuring @siiddharthvohra Programming Director at City1016, and @socialbyhalima , Founder of Knacktag Media, the conversation moved beyond titles and success stories and into the realities of media, entrepreneurship and staying authentic.

Conceptualised and brought to life by Social Kandura founders @chanchal_sakshi and @gauravprksh , this was the beginning of
a new community-led platform built around the people shaping our city.

Good people. Real conversations. Great vibes.

This was the first Social Kandura Majlis and we’re only getting started.

The Ferrari everyone loves to hate.

Meet the Ferrari Luce — Ferrari’s first fully electric production car, producing 1,035 hp, doing 0–100 km/h in around 2.5 seconds, and designed in collaboration with legendary former Apple designer Jony Ive.

“Luce” — pronounced LOO-cheh — means “light” in Italian. But since its reveal, the car has been anything but easy to digest. Its radical design has divided the internet, Ferrari purists are questioning whether an EV can ever truly feel like a Ferrari, and yet it has already created one extraordinary piece of history.

Ferrari Luce Chassis 0 sold for a staggering $40 MILLION — approximately AED 147 MILLION.

For context, the production Luce starts at around €550,000.

But the Luce is about much more than horsepower, acceleration or price. It represents Ferrari attempting to answer one of the biggest questions in its history:

Can you take away the engine and still create a Ferrari?

No screaming V12. No roaring V8. No traditional exhaust note.

Instead: four electric motors, 1,035 hp, all-wheel drive, cutting-edge chassis technology and an entirely new design philosophy.

Love it or hate it, Ferrari has people talking.

And maybe that’s exactly the point.

Six years ago, @apexdetailstudiodxb wasn’t a business.

It was an ambition shared by two people in their twenties who believed they could build one of the finest detailing studio in the UAE.

An empty warehouse. A prayer. Furniture brought from home. Every dirham invested back into the dream. There was never a Plan B - only a relentless commitment to quality and a promise that every car leaving our workshop would be better than the one before it.

What followed wasn’t just growth. It was execution.

From one workshop in 2020, to expanding again in 2022, to launching @socialkandura in 2023, to moving into a larger facility in 2024, and opening our biggest chapter yet in 2026. Every milestone came with a single purpose: raise the standard, never compromise on quality, and keep building.

The past six years have also taught us that leadership isn’t measured when everything is going well. It’s measured when uncertainty arrives. In 2026, while the region faced one of its most challenging periods, we chose to continue building, opened our largest facility to date, and stood by our people - without layoffs or salary reductions. Progress means very little if the people who helped build it are left behind.

Today, our impact isn’t measured only by square footage or the number of cars we’ve worked on. It’s measured by the trust of thousands of customers, a team that has grown from just 5 people to nearly 50 and a business that has evolved from one empty warehouse into one of the UAE’s leading detailing destinations.

People who have known us since the beginning will remember Gaurav saying, In next 5years, Apex Detail Studio will be the best detailing workshop in the UAE.”

At the time, it sounded like an impossible dream.

Today, as Apex completes six years, we’re proud to say we’ve come incredibly close to achieving that first dream.

The next one starts now.
