Thanks to the wonderful support of my dear humanitarian brother on the ground in Gaza, Khaled, we were able to locate and send a care package to little Jawad - the 22 month old boy who was tortured by authorities in Israel - and his Mother (his Father is still detained).

Thanks to peoples’ kind donations, Jawad was provided with formula milk, nappies, clothes, shoes, building blocks and a Spiderman toy 🙂

No child should ever be subjected to torture and the trauma associated with this, especially at 2 years old.

I hope this goes some way to show his family that the world is not all evil and that people love and care for Jawad ❤️

This is Wissam.

Wissam is an 8 year old boy whose Mother, Father and little sister were killed in an air strike.

Wissam lost one leg below the knee and both feet in the strike.

He has no family left and lives, alone, in a dilapidated tent in Al Mawasi camp. He is cared for by the camp, but some days does not eat and is in desperate need of a new tent and food.

Even after everything I’ve witnessed, I was shocked when Khaled told me Wissam’s story. Tucking my two kids in at night hit differently.

My fucking heart breaks. All and any donations will go straight to supporting Wissam ❤️

New backpacks, pens and notebooks provided for displaced children in southern Gaza on their first day back at school. A small gesture but one that put a big smile on faces ❤️

Thanks to your donations, as well as helping the infant Tala, and bringing her back from the brink, there was enough to also help baby Muhamed from the Al Mawasi displacement camp who was born with hepatitis and suffering malnourishment.

We were able to provide specialist formula, bile flow medication and essential vitamin supplementation he otherwise wouldn’t have been able to receive ❤️

Thanks to your kind donations, anti bacterial medication, topical lotions, formula and nappies were supplied to little Tala.

I’m happy to say she is now out of danger thanks to your help and very much on the mend as you can see in this video. Her sores are healing nicely, she is able to feed again and has gone back to being a healthy weight.

We have identified a number of other babies and young children in the Mawasi displacement camp who continue to be in critical conditions and need your support for a chance of life ❤️

Raif is a young father of 4 suffering with Motor Neurone Disease in awful conditions in a displacement camp in southern Gaza.

With the support of your kind donations I was able to provide Raif with medication to manage his symptoms and slow the progression of the disease, which he could otherwise not afford.

I was also able to provide him with a wheelchair to allow him some mobility as he was otherwise restricted to spending most of his day laying in a makeshift bed in his stifling tent,

As you can see from the video, Raif and his young family are living in awful conditions and I’d like to raise enough to improve the sanitation and access of his toilet area.

Hi all,, I’ve been made aware of a gentleman, Raif, who is a dedicated father of four and has been diagnosed and suffering with Motor Neurone Disease (also known as ALS).

Anyone familiar with this disease will know just how absolutely horrendous it is to live with, even in the western world with all the clinical care and support available. In a displacement camp in Gaza I can only begin to imagine the horror of living with this cruel disease.

Raif had been granted medical clearance to cross to Egypt for support, but Israel have so far blocked every attempt to do so.

Whilst Raif was able to receive medication whilst hospitalised, any medication to help manage his condition is chargeable when he is out of hospital. I have verified the cost of a month’s medicine (Rilutek) at just shy of $150usd.

As the provider for his family, he is now bedbound in a stifling tent left staring at the canvas ceiling. I’ve located a wheelchair for him which will allow him to gain an element of independence and to leave the tent and spend time with his kids, which is $350 (a lot of money, but they are INCREDIBLY hard to come by) so my goal is to find funding for this if at all possible.

If you’re able to contribute a little to help with the suffering of Raif and over him some quality of life lease donate via the usual link. If anyone would like to share elsewhere I’d be grateful of that too l.
