This year isn’t my peak—it’s my foundation.

From all the hard practices to being National Qualifiers, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere but on this team surrounded by these people ❤️💙💛 by @gavin.st9

The dream.

The 8th and last state meet of my career. Finished with two PRs, beating my own school records, and a podium finish. I got 8th in the 1600 finishing with a 4:28.38. Then got 5th in the 3200 with a 9:34.83.

Surreal moment realizing my high school running career has come to an end. Countless hours of training during off seasons leading to the success I’ve had. Many coaches and people helping me along the way teaching me and guiding me to become the athlete I am. Plenty of times having mental breakdowns and not mentally being in love with the sport. Every up and down has taught me that loving this sport in every moment is impossible. But every moment with my teammates, competitors, and coaches has made it a sport that I love as a whole. ❤️ Thank you to everyone for all of the support especially my family 🫶🏻 Ready for my college career at UW-Eau Claire. Not done. 🔵🟡 by @gavin.st9

End of the beginning…

From the first race to the last I’ve had so many people supporting me. Thankful for every teammate and rival along the way, made this the funnest journey it could have been.

Finishing off my career with 3 top 5 finishes in a row at state is better than I could have imagined, blessed for the opportunity!

I’ll miss you more than you’ll ever know, good bye Ladysmith XC. ❤️ taken in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin by @gavin.st9

First place at Solon Springs today with a 16:02. Team placed 6th of 19, excited to see how much we can improve by sectionals. 😤 by @gavin.st9

Amazing race in Marshfield at the Nightfall Classic last night! Took second with a 15:54. It’s a long course of 3.26, 5k split was 15:11! Team impressed me today and have some high expectations for sectionals and state after this. 😈 by @gavin.st9
