The cellar is the only place that makes sense in Dry January. 🌧️

While the world outside debates its resolutions, the Pinecone Pinot Noir simply exists—bone-dry, structural, and patient.

This is a cool climate Pinot in its purest form: wild sour cherries, wet slate, and the tension of two years in 🪵. No filters, no shortcuts. Just the slow resolution of a wine that doesn't need to shout to be heard.

“L’insomniaque mosellan” - Travailler au cœur de la nuit est devenu un élément extrêmement important de ma créativité. Passer les nuits, pendant que ma famille et mes clients dorment, à terminer des travaux créatifs fait partie de moi. Cette image, avec deux rameurs ramant vers la lune avec les vignes de la Moselle de chaque côté, est une représentation visuelle de mon processus créatif ces jours-ci. Le deuxième homme dans le bateau est mon défunt père, à qui je passe ces nuits à penser et parfois à parler.

Vision Mosel is the newest group of visionaries working to help usher in the new generation of grapes 🍇 to the Moselle Landscape. PIWI’s area of big discussion in the wine communities around the world as the global climate changes. This branch of hybrid grapes are part of the solution. Increasing the disease and mold resistence of the grapes themselves means less spraying, less diesel use and more stable yields without the use of harsh pesticides and herbicides.
