The Graphic Design Association is proud to host a talk from designer Joshua Alonso in Crit Space 2! Show up at 4:30 for light refreshments and stay for his talk at 5, with a Q&A session afterwards.

📅 November 5th, 2026
⏰ 4:30 PM
📍 Crit Space 2, Riverpark Corn Ctr.
921 Front Avenue, Columbus, GA 31901

Josh is a Marketing Designer for Heyo agency, and a 2025 graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Graphic Design BFA. He'll be guiding us on how to navigate our early design careers. Josh knows how frustrating it can be to receive a motivating talk with no action steps, so he's going to make sure we're all realistically equipped with what we need to get started. taken in Corn Center for the Visual Arts by @gda_csu

Short and sweet, but completely sincere: Senior Send-Off was a beautiful mini-celebration for our graduating GDA Members.

A huge congratulations to Emilie Scalise, Carolina Maldonado (GDA Secretary), and Amiya Smith (GDA Vice President) for their hard work and dedication to their crafts. We value all their contributions to the GDA and to our experiences as Graphic Design students at CSU, and we can't wait to see what the future has in store for them!

Thank you to all who showed up to help us celebrate them, everyone felt the love.
